New In Skincare Feb 2018
The beginning of 2018 has been full of new skincare releases. As much as I love makeup, I love skincare more. Being in my 30’s I try to use better skincare and focus a lot on anti-aging. I have a ton of new launches to share with you so let’s get to it. Just be warned, this is an extremely long post as I share a short review for every product that is pictured.
Mac Studio Waterweight Concealer & Powder + Some New Skincare Releases
Mac released a new line of concealers and powders that are part of the permanent line. They also released two products that are part of the Mineralize line. The Mac Studio Waterweight Line features foundation, concealer and powder. It is a line for people who like their makeup on the natural side (me in a line). As I remember, the foundation was released a long time ago so they just added concealers and new powders.
Cover FX Glitter Drops & Shimmer Veil
Cover FX has two new products and both are multi-purpose shimmers and glitters. The Cover FX Glitter Drops come in multidimensional finish and sparkle for days. The Shimmer Veil can be used on eyes, lips and wherever you would like a touch of shimmer. For me, I love to use them on the eyes as cream eyeshadows, since I don’t like shimmer anywhere else on my face.
Flower Beauty Miracle Matte Liquid Lip Color
Flower Beauty Miracle Matte Liquid Lip Colors are your classic matte liquid lipstick but with a velvet feel and non drying formula. The line features 12 shades which are all quite wearable. There are a lot of neutral shades but also some vampy and pops of color.
YSL Touche Eclat All In One Glow
The YSL Touche Eclat All In One Glow is a tinted moisturizer and the latest base release from the brand. It promises medium coverage and has a luminous natural finish. With the SPF of 23, this makes the perfect base for summer (at least for me).
Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne Collection
Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne Collection is the latest release from the brand. It’s a collaboration with Kristen Leanne who is a makeup artist and a Youtuber. To be hones, I didn’t know who she is before the collaboration, but I checked her IG and she is a super talented makeup artist. I can see that she loves using color on her eyes so the collection looks like the perfect represetation of her style.
