Brand Focus: Kosas Cosmetics
Kosas Cosmetics caught my eye with the Color & Light Cream palettes. If you are a long time reader or follower on social, you would know how much I love a good cream cheek product. I actually prefer cream products for day to day makeup since I like my makeup on the more natural, glowy side.

Marble plus rose gold is the perfect aesthetically pleasing packaging that the brand Dear Dahlia has. Dear Dahlia is a prestige vegan beauty brand that comes from Korea. They are 100& cruelty free and made with 8 free formula, so with no harmful ingredients. I’m pretty new to the brand but so far, I’ve been liking everything that I’ve tried. They carry face, lips, eyes and even skincare products. I’ve tried some of the lip products and one eyeshadow palette so here are my thoughts.
Black Friday Beauty Deals 2019
If you are not done shopping after the Sephora VIB Sale, there is always Black Friday. I find that for Black Friday, there are better deals that we get for the Sephora sale which is only 20%. Also this year, it seems like brands are starting earlier with the sales so we have plenty of time to window shop first before we decide on what to spend our money.
Chantecaille Holiday 2019 Collection Review & Swatches
The Chantecaille Holiday 2019 Collection is dripping in sparkle and gold. This year, the brand released three Lip Cristals, a luminous powder, a powder-balm and also a beautiful gold clutch. I was introduced to the Lip Cristal formula with Chantecaille’s Spring 2019 Collection (they had three shades (review here)).
bareMinerals Bounce & Blur Collection Review & Swatches
bareMinerals Bounce & Blur Collection features two eyeshadow palettes and four blushes in a very unique bouncy cream to powder formula. I was instantly drawn to this collection because of the formula. The eyeshadows and blushes are described as finger friendly with a sheer to buildable formula. So basically, they give the look of a cream product but are easier to work with (especially for someone who’s not used to using cream products).
Maybelline Superstay Ink Crayon Lipstick Review & Swatches
The Maybelline Superstay Ink Crayon Lipstick is a long-wearing matte lipstick that glides as a cream but has the lasting power of a liquid lipstick. These are lip crayons that you can use both as lip liners or lipstick. They come with a built in sharpener that you can use to keep the lipstick sharp for precise application.
