Kiko Gold Waves is this year’s Summer Collection from the brand. As with every year, they feature beautiful limited edition packaging and products that are meant to create a summer bronzed look. Gold Waves features everything from bronzers, blushes, highlighters and lipsticks.

The L’oreal Colour Riche Shine Lipstick line is the newest release from the brand. They are a glossy, hydrating and medium coverage lipstick that is one of the best I’ve tried from the drugstore. The line has 16 different shades and a good variety of colors.
Top 5 Mascaras & Affordable Faves
I was going through my blog posts just to get an idea what I’ve posted through the years, and I can’t believe that I don’t have one mascara post. I think mascara makes such a difference in a look. I love my dramatic lashes and I’m quite picky when it comes to mascaras. Having long but straight lashes, I’m always looking for mascaras that give me volume, hold a good curl but also don’t flake or run on me. I’m not sure why, but a lot of mascaras give me panda eyes.

When it comes to base makeup, I prefer something natural and a base that will give me a skin like finish, but still provides some coverage. There are a lot of light coverage foundations that I love (read about my favorite bases for dry skin here) but I recently picked up some new releases and had the chance to test them out before I left on vacation.
Favorite Cream Blushes For Summer
I love using cream products in summer. Especially in humid and hot weather, I just prefer creams over powder because I find that they wear better on my skin. When it comes to cream blushes, I prefer a more natural, almost dewy finish. As for the formula, you have to be careful with creams as they can move or lift your base. The ones I’ll mention here don’t do that and work for most skin types.
