The Blush Tag
Well better late then never right? A month ago I was tagged by the lovely Faith from That’s Just Fabulous to participate in “The Blush Tag”. I recently moved and I got to organize my makeup and buy new makeup storage so before I did that I didn’t realize that I own so many blushes. Seriously next time when I want to buy a new blush I have to remind myself that I have a stash that will last me a lifetime. Of course as a blush lover I was pretty excited to do this tag.
Smashbox Color Correcting Sticks Review & Swatches
I hopped on the color correcting train and now I can’t do my makeup without using some kind of peach shade in the inner corners of my eyes. I get darkness there which I think totally disappears when I use a peach corrector under my regular concealer so my under eye area looks flawless and I actually look more rested and fresh.
Urban Decay Summer 2016 Collection
Urban Decay recently released their Summer 2016 Collection and of course everything from the packaging to the products are all beautiful. The collection has three shades of highlighters, two bronzers, two eye pencils and a new base, part of their Naked line.
Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Quad in Rust
Kat Von D is the queen of palettes so I was happy to see that she just released a smaller version of her Shade+ Light Eye Contour palette and she did it in four different quad shades. The Shade+Light Eye Contour Quads have four different shades all in matte finish. They’re the more compact version of her bigger palette so they are perfect to take when you travel.
NEW Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess 2016 Collection
Every year Estée Lauder comes out with new products for her signature Bronze Goddess Summer Collection. The products are all meant to give you that bronzed and glowy “just came from the beach” look which we all love for the summer months.
I get most excited about summer collections just because of that, every single makeup collection features beautiful bronzers, highlighters and bright coral lips that go so well with a tan.
Bright & Neutral Lip Shades For Spring
Continuing with my spring theme here on the blog, today I’m going to talk about what lipstick shades I prefer to wear during the warmer months. Spring and Summer usually overlap and I wear a lot of the same lip shades during those months, well except of my favorite red orange shades that I add in summer. The finish of the lipsticks is also pretty much the same, I reach for more comfortable options and lipsticks with a more creamy and satin finish.
