Charlotte Tilbury released a brand new collection that is dedicated to her most popular lip shade in Pillow Talk. In the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Collection, she added deeper lipstick shades, but also released a new eyeshadow palette and a bunch of other product that have Pillow Talk hues.
I had the pleasure of testing the new additions plus revisit some old favorites of the Pillow Talk Collection. Charlotte Tilbury released an Instant Eye Palette which is one of her 12 pan palettes. She also added deeper lipstick and lip liner shades, a deeper blush shade and brand new Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wands (launching Feb 26th)
There is also a Pillow Talk Eyeliner, a Collagen Lip Bath, Lip Lustre and Superstar Lips in the same shade. I also received the Pillow Talk Luxury Palette (which is not new) and the Pillow Talk Luxury Palette of Pops.
First up, the Instant Eye Palette in Pillow Talk. This is a 12 pan palette that features beautiful pinky mauve shades, corals, browns and also some pops of color. It is one of my favorite Instant Eye Palette that Charlotte Tilbury has released (I’ve collected them all). Both the formula and the shade selection is exceptional. I think this is one of the first palettes that has more matte shades than shimmers. The eyeshadows are so easy to work and blend like a dream on the eyes.
There is a good variety of shades to do day time soft looks but also some darker smoky eye looks. As with all of Charlotte Tilbury’s Instant Eye Palettes, the shades are grouped in looks. She made the looks so it is easy to use (even for beginners). I like to mix and match but I also stick with a “look” when I don’t have a lot of time to get ready. My most worn look is the Desk look. I just love how the warm pinky corals look on my brown eyes.

The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Luxury Palette is not new to me. I’ve had this palette since it launched and I love to use it for every day looks. I think the four shades that come in the palette are perfect for creating a soft rose toned look. It is a good palette for bride makeup but also for someone who likes their eyeshadow on the softer, more feminine side.

The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Luxury Palette of Pops features four shades in the sparkling diamond formula. You can use these shades either as a shadow topper to add a pop of sparkle, or on their own, for an almost wet eye effect. I like to use this formula with my fingers and just tap the product on my eyes. This is sophisticated shimmer that is very easy to use and lasts all day on the eyes without creasing.

The Cheek to Chick in Pillow Talk is one of my all time favorite blush. Pillow Talk is a rosy pink shade with champagne shimmer in the middle. It gives the perfect rosy brown look on the cheeks and has the most amazing glow without emphasizing any texture. It’s my most used powder blush!
Charlotte released a new Pillow Talk Intense version and it is perfect for tan and deeper skin tones. This version has deeper rose hues and medium pink shimmer in the middle. It is meant for deeper skin tones but it still works for my light to medium skin tone. I just have to make sure I use a light hand since it’s quite pigmented.
The Pillow Talk Intense is not as glowy as the original version and appears as more of a satin blush on the skin.
The two other cheek products in the collection come in the Light Wand formula. Charlotte’s liquid highlighter formula is one of my favorite. I love it because it is intense and super glowy but doesn’t accentuate any texture on the skin. It also doesn’t leave a tacky feeling on the skin and gives an almost wet glossy look, which I love.
There are two shades in the Pillow Talk Collection in Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand and Pillow Talk Medium Light Wand. The Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand is a beautiful champagne rose shade. It will suit anyone with fair to medium skin tone.
The Medium shade appears almost as a burned deep orange when it’s heavily swatches, but it actually sheers out really well. I can use this shade as a blush or blush topper since it’s quite dark. This shade will suit anyone with tan or deeper skin.
Charlotte released two new Pillow Talk lipstick shades. Now, there is a medium and an intense version which are darker in tones.
The original Pillow Talk lipstick is a beautiful rose pink neutral shade. This also makes for a great bridal shade but also a good every day shade.
The Pillow Talk Medium shade comes in the same Matte Revolution formula as the original. It’s described as a warm berry pink shade in a matte finish.
As for the Pillow Talk Intense Lipstick, this comes in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula which is more creamy. It is a beautiful deep berry rose shade that would look amazing on any skin tone.

The Pillow Talk shade continues with three other lip formulas. There is a:
- Pillow Talk shade in the Collagen Lip Bath formula (a big favorite of mine),
- the Lip Lustre (which is Charlotte’s lip gloss formula) and
- the Superstar Lips (a balmy light formula which I also love).
I really like all three formulas. The Superstar Lips have a balmy texture and provide a light touch of color. It is not as sheer as a gloss, but it is not as pigments as a lipstick. It reminds me of a tinted balm.
The Lip Lustre is not a new formula for me. I remember trying this lip gloss back in the day when Charlotte first launched in the US. It is a nice non sticky lip gloss formula and it is very comfortable to wear. The lip gloss gives enough color to be worn on it’s own but it also layers well over a lipstick.
Charlotte Tilbury’s Collagen Lip Bath is a plumping sheer gloss that has a minty scent. It’s not one of those plumping glosses that hurt. Instead, it gives a tingling cooling effect on the lips and makes my lips appear bigger. The formula is very cushiony and smooth, so even if you have dryness, it doesn’t show it.
And lastly, the liners.
- There is a new Pillow Talk Eyeliner which is a beautiful berry brown shade. I wore it the other day and the formula stayed on all day. It is a softer formula but as soon as it sets, it doesn’t budge.
- As a lot of people, I’m a big fan of the Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk. It’s one of my most used lip liner (I think I’ve gone through 3 pencils) and I basically wear it with every nude lipstick.
- There are two new shades in the Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk Medium and Intense. The Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk Medium is a warm berry pink (similar shade to the lipstick). The Pillow Talk Intense is rich tawny brown shade that also goes well with the Intense lipstick.
Bottom line, another beautiful collection from Charlotte Tilbury. She does soft and glowy makeup so well! I honestly can’t pick a favorite in the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Collection as everything is so well made and beautiful.
Depending on your skin tone or shade preference, I think you will find a product that you will love in the Pillow Talk Collection. As for products that instantly went in my daily makeup drawer, I have the Instant Eye Palette, Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand, Collagen Lip Bath, Lip Lustre and Superstar Lips.
