MAC just released a new LE Collection in collaboration with Taraji P.Henson. When I saw that MAC is collaborating on a collection with Taraji I was very excited as I’m a big fan, I loved her performance in Person of Interest. The line is meant for darker skin tones but I think the products would look really nice on lighter skin tones too, you just have to repurpose the products.
L’oreal recently launched three face masks that are in the clay family. Every mask addresses different skin issues from exfoliation and dead skin removal to detox and brightening and purifying and mattifying.
The summer is almost over and as I’m excited for fall and all that it brings (boots, scarves and dark lipsticks), I will miss the warm breezy days that we have here in Colorado. August has been a great month for new beauty releases, I can’t believe that we’re already having a preview of all the Holiday collections.
Clay masks are one of my favorite to use whenever I’m in need of good deep cleansing. They’re amazing at clearing up pores and all the impurities that you have on your skin. Fresh has two products with Umbrian Clay which is mineral rich clay and origins from Italy. This unique clay has been around for centuries and has been used by the Etruscans.
Urban Decay released a new foundation that’s part of their Fall 2016 collection called the All Nighter Liquid Foundation. The foundation claims to be long-lasting, waterproof, full coverage with a modern matte finish. It’s also oil free and has three times the amount of pigment than their Naked Skin foundation so that means that you will use less product to achieve full coverage.
Ariana Grande is back for a second collaboration with MAC on their Viva Glam line. This time the shades from the collection are brighter and in my opinion more fun to wear. The Viva Glam line from MAC is awesome because every cent that they make goes toward helping women, men and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
