Contouring has taken over the makeup world, it seems that every company is coming out with their own version of a contouring palette. I do love that we get so many choices but sometimes it can be a little bit overwhelming by all of them.
I’m all about bright lipsticks but when it comes to every day use I turn to nude lipsticks that are not high maintenance and easy to wear. I’ve been loving the “nude” trend for spring. If you have seen photos of the models on the runway or in magazines, they all look very natural, with dewy skin, natural cheek color and a natural lip.

I wanted to share this set that I picked up last week at Ulta, it’s actually an Ulta exclusive and was only available there so before I did this post I looked for it online and it’s no longer available.
L’oreal recently released two palettes for the US market, La Palette Nude 1 and La Palette Nude 2. I was able to find the first palette which is a warm toned palette and consists mainly shades in the brown family.

I’ve read so many good things about the Clarins brand, for both skincare and makeup so I decided to pick up some makeup bits and test them out. I picked up the Clarins Splendours Summer Bronzing Compact, Instant Light Comfort Lip Oil and two of the Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors.
Glo Minerals recently launched two new lip products for spring, the Suede Matte Crayons* and the Suede Matte Sticks*. They were kind enough to send me some shades to test them out so I wanted to share them with you.
