Estee Lauder is back with another collection by Violette, their Global Beauty Director. The Estee Lauder by Violette Oh Naturelle Collection is a nude inspired line that features an eyeshadow palette, a cheek palette and four liquid lipsticks. It includes a variety of nude shades that will suit every skin tone.
The nude tones are perfect for your every day makeup but the darker tones make for great smoky eyes and going out looks. As most people, I love a good nude. I love nude lipsticks but I also like blushes that are in the nude family. The brown and beige eyeshadows are my go to’s when it comes to my every day makeup picks, so I was excited to see a nude inspired collection from Estee Lauder.
The Estee Lauder Oh Naturelle Eyeshadow Palette by Violette comes in beautiful blush nude packaging. The palette features 15 shades that come in matte and pearl finish. There is a good variety of light and deeper shades and nude hues for every skin tone.
The Oh Naturelle Eyeshadow Palette by Violette has 9 matte shades and 6 shimmers. The palette leans on the warmer side with beautiful brown and bronze shades, to coppers and orange. As someone who wears warm toned neutral eyeshadows, this is my idea of a perfect eyeshadow palette.
The formula of both the matte and shimmer shades is super nice. The shimmery shades (especially the darker shades) are very pigmented and appear vibrant on the eyes. The matte shades are buildable and very easy to work with.

The Estee Lauder Oh Naturelle Face & Eye Palette by Violette comes with 8 nude shades in sparkle, pearl and matte finish. As the name implies, you can use the powders both on your cheeks and on the eyes. The top row features highlighter like shades in different nude hues. The bottom has more of a blush type shades that are as equally beautiful.
The shimmer shades have a very smooth feel to the touch. They are very pigmented and give an intense glow on the cheeks. It is a glow that doesn’t emphasize any imperfections on the skin and doesn’t have chinky shimmer. A little goes a long way with the shimmer powders. You only need a tap with your brush in the pan to achieve intense glow.
The bottom part comes with two pearl and two matte powders. I use these as blushes and occasionally on the eyes when I want to achieve a monochromatic look. These are also very pigmented so you have to be careful with your brush. What I do, is just tap with my brush in the pan and tap again to get rid of excess powder.

There are four shades from the Pure Color Envy Paint-On Liquid Lip Color. These are matte liquid lipsticks but they are one of the more comfortable formula I’ve tried. They have a watery consistency, give full on pigment with one swipe and are transfer proof. I like the Pure Color Envy Paint-On Liquid Lip Colors because they don’t feel like anything on the lips. They are very lightweight and don’t suck out the moisture from your lips. They also don’t settle in to the lip lines which is rare for a liquid lipstick.
I like to wear these blotted for a blurred long-lasting lip look. They last on me all day without cracking and they actually fade nicely.

Bottom line, the Estee Lauder Oh Naturelle by Violette Collection is a big hit for me. I love every piece from the collection! The quality of the formulas is amazing and I really like the shade selection in everything. I feel like both the eyeshadow palette and the face and cheek palette are so versatile and will suit a lot of skin tones. Highly recommend!
