bareMinerals released a new line of lipsticks under their BarePro collection. The bareMinerals BarePro Longwear Matte Lipstick is described as a full coverage mineral based lipstick with a matte finish that lasts up to eight hours. With plenty of nudes, pinks but also reds and berry shades, I feel like bareMinerals covered a lot of lip shades.
The bareMinerals BarePro Longwear Matte Lipsticks are formulated with:
– Baobab Oil: Rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C to help moisturize for softer-looking lips.
– Sunflower Seed and Jojoba Waxes: Help to hydrate, nourish, and prevent moisture loss.

They are matte but have a good slip to them so they don’t feel drying on the lips. The formula is more of a velvet matte so they are very comfortable to wear. They don’t catch on any dryness that you have on the lips and you get full on pigment with one swipe.
I received all 20 shades and wore a bunch of them to test for longevity and how they wear. The BarePro Matte Lipsticks wear really well for five hours before I need to re-apply. They also fade nicely so you can even wear them as a stain. I also like to blot them and just apply a tiny bit for that blurred lip effect.
The shape of the bullet and the size makes application very easy. You will need to use a lip brush with the darker shades if you like a precise line.
To be honest these days I prefer a glossy lip over matte lipsticks but I find the BarePro Matte Lipsticks very comfortable for a matte lipstick. If you have dry lips and you still want to wear a matte lipstick, these are a great option. The shade selection and the comfortable formula is hard to beat.

Bottom line, I really like the new bareMinerals BarePro Longwear Matte Lipsticks line. The formula is very comfortable and long-lasting and I also like the shade selection. As for favorite shades, I would pick, Spice, Cinnamon, Carnation, Saffron and Cherry.
