Burberry released a limited edition Beauty Box that was inspired by the Burberry Beasts. They are mythical creatures that also appear on this year’s fall clothing and accessories collection. Housed in a beautiful sleeve with artwork that comes from the collection, the box features four products that are all very fall appropriate.
The Burberry Beauty Box in Russet comes with the following items:
- Eye Colour Silk – Antique Blue No.305 (full size)
- Nail Polish – Black Cherry No.304 (full size)
- Burberry Kisses – Russet No.93 (deluxe size)
- Burberry Cat Lashes – Jet Black No.01 (deluxe size)
The Eye Color Silk Eyeshadow in No.305 Antique Blue is a beautiful dark bluish gray with a pearl finish. The formula of the Silk eyeshadows do feel like silk to the touch. They have great pigmentation and blend effortlessly. I think this shade would be great for creating a smoky eye that is not your usual brown or black.
For the neutral shade lovers out there, I would recommend Pale Barley and Rosewood if you are looking to try more shades from the line. Both are beautiful all over lid shades and very popular in the beauty community.
The Nail Polish in No.304 Black Cherry is a dark berry shade. It is a shade that I love wearing both on my nails and my lips. It was my first time trying a Burberry nail polish and I can see why a lot of people love it. The formula is pigmented and you get an even application with only one coat. I do prefer two coats of Black Cherry because of the more intense payoff. The color lasted 5 days without chipping which is excellent in my books.
I really like the formula of the Burberry Kisses lipsticks. They are hydrating and you can customize the intensity of the shade. One swipe gives you a bitten lips look and sheer coverage, two or three swipes, you will get intense payoff. The shade in Russet is a warm toned brick shade. Not my usual choice, but I do like how it looks on me.
And lastly, the Burberry Cat Lashes Mascara in Jet Black. I’m totally getting this in full size when I run out of the sample. This mascara gives me the longest lashes. It doesn’t give much volume but as the name applies it gives a cat eye effect to the eyes. My lashes are super long and hold a curl really well and most importantly the mascara doesn’t smudge or flake.

Bottom line, the Burberry Beasts Beauty Box is a great option if you haven’t tried much from the brand or even for a present for the beauty lover in your life. The Beauty Box is limited edition and exclusive to Burberry. It’s priced at $68.
As a more affordable alternative, I would also recommend the Burberry Beauty Box that is exclusive to Sephora. This box comes with deluxe size products but it is still a good way to try more products from the brand.
