Are you a liquid lipstick lover like me? Do you want a long lasting lipstick that’s kiss proof? Look no further cause Rimmel launched their new Provocalips 16HR Kissproof Lip Colours and they’re wonderful.
The collection is permanent and has ten shades, I purchased the six shades that caught my eye. They have a pretty good color range, from light baby pink to a dark berry shade. The liquid lipstick is double sided, on one side you get the liquid lipstick and on the other you get a clear balm that actually sets the lipstick and makes it a little bit more matte and transfer free.
Cause of the wand it’s pretty easy to apply but if you’re a beginner you can also use a lip brush to make sure you don’t over apply the product and have even lines. The liquid lipstick is very pigmented so you don’t need a lot. Don’t try applying two coats cause the lipstick will cake up and you’ll get uneven application. What I do is apply one coat of the lipstick, wait maybe 30 seconds and then apply the balm. After doing this your lipstick will not budge for 6 hours, you can eat, drink even kiss it will not move!

As you can see the finish is not totally matte, while the balm lasts it actually has some shine and it’s pretty hydrating. After the balm wears off it becomes a matte lipstick and it’s a little bit drying on the lips, but that comes with the matte finish with every lipstick.

I’ve read that some people had problems with removing the lipstick but I haven’t had any problems with that. Just make sure to use an oil based makeup remover and you’ll be good to go.
