As soon as the season changes my makeup products change too. In winter I gravitate towards darker shades and smoky eyes but spring comes I’m all about the corals, glowy cheeks and more natural eye makeup.
I know it’s still winter for another month but our Miami weather is all about spring so I’m pretty excited to switch my makeup and start using lighter shades.
Face: Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar On The Go in Breakfast At Tiffany’s* has the perfect peachy pink cream blush that’s long lasting and so easy to blend, perfect for achieving cheeks a la Audrey Hepburn. The bronze cream eyeshadow is a must have for me for spring/summer cause I tent to gravitate to warmer shades as soon as I get some tan.
Charlotte Tilbury Swish & Pop Blush in Sex on Fire gives you luminous mauve pink cheeks that look gorgeous under the spring sun.
Eyes: L’oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Amber Rush – A metallic copper rose gold eyeshadow that’s very pigmented. I think this eyeshadow is very versatile as it will suit most eye colors.
Lips: It’s all about bright coral lips. Nars Audacious lipstick in Grace is a warm bright coral shade with great long lasting formula.
Tom Ford Matthew is part of the Lips & Boys collection so it’s a mini lipstick and perfect for on the go. It’s a more wearable shade than Nars Grace as it’s not as neon.
Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Clique – I had to add a bright red orange shade cause I think that’s the shade of red that’s perfect for spring/summer. These are very affordable and don’t lack in quality, if you haven’t tried them I definitely recommend you do so.
