Bite Beauty came out with two Holiday sets that are exclusive to Sephora. I already featured the smaller set that’s called the Best Bite Rewind Set, you can read about it here and also check out swatches. The second set is a bigger one and I think suited for people who haven’t tried much from the brand.
The Bite Beauty Discovery Set has Bite’s best selling products in one. It’s an eight piece set that’s packaged separately, each product has it separate package so they make great stocking stuffers.
The set contains three full size products, three mini size, a mirror and five lip wipes. The total value of the set is $110 and the set is priced for $55.
The Set contains:
– 0.18 oz Agave Lip Mask in Clear (mini size)
– 0.03 oz Line & Define Primer in Clear (mini size)
– 0.031 oz Mini Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Glacé
– 5 x Lush Lip Wipes
– 0.15 oz Luminous Crème Lipstick in Pepper (full size)
– 0.11 oz Lush Fruit Lip Gloss Honey (full size)
– 0.09 oz High Pigment Pencil in Pomegranate (full size)
– Bite mirror
The Agave Lip Mask has been my favorite for awhile now. I’ve tried the clear version but also one of the colored versions and they both perform really well. I use the mask as an overnight treatment when I feel that my lips are very dry and need some hydration.
The Line & Define Primer in Clear can be used all over the lips if you’re planning to wear a matte lipstick. It’s a great primer that fills out lip lines and also prevents feathering.
I have a full size of the Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Glace but I didn’t mind getting another mini. This shade is one of those nude mauve shades that everybody loves and it’s great for every day wear. As I said in my previous post these are more of a satin finish that makes them more comfortable to wear than your regular matte lipstick.
The Bite Lush Lip Wipes are a nice addition to the set. I have to admit that I wouldn’t buy these wipes separately just because I use regular makeup removing wipes to remove my lipsticks. But if you want that extra lip care and if you have a lipstick that’s hard to take off these are good to have.
The Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Pepper is a very similar shade to Glace just a tad bit lighter. It’s a really nice nude mauve shade that’s very creamy and very comfortable to wear. If you’re looking for a creamy lipstick that lasts, definitely check out the Luminous Creme Lipstick line. These are the most comfortable and hydrating lipsticks I have ever tried.
The Lush Fruit Lipgloss in Honey is your perfect pale nude with gold shimmer. If you’re familiar with Bite lip glosses you’ll know that these are thick and a little sticky. To me they feel very nice on the lips and last a log time but if you don’t like sticky lip glosses you will not like this. Honey is pretty on it’s own but also looks very nice over a nude lipstick.
The High Pigment Lip Pencil in Pomegranate is a rich red shade. On me it pulls as a red orange but when swatched on my hand it looks like a red with a tiny bit of pink. The High Pigment Lip Pencils are very pigmented as the name applies and have a satin finish so they make your lips look very juicy. On Sephora’s website they’re described as a matte finish but they’re definitely creamier than your regular matte lipstick.
The Bite Beauty Discovery Set gets a big thumbs up from me. I think it’s such a great value, you basically pay the price of two full size products and with this set you get three plus minis.
If you haven’t tried anything from Bite or even if you like to add more products to your collection this is a great set to get.
