Becca Apres Ski Glow Collection Eye Lights Palette

Becca Apres Ski Glow Collection Eye Lights Palette is a limited edition palette for the holidays. It features five shades that are inspired by the brand’s best selling Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed shades plus two completely new shades. In both satin and shimmer finish, you get neutral shades that are great for creating every day looks.

The formula of the eyeshadows is customized for the eyes but in my opinion, the texture feels as silky as the Shimmering Skin Perfectors Pressed but with a less metallic finish.

The Apres Ski Glow Collection Eye Lights Palette features the following shades:

Pearl (white pearl with a shimmer finish)

Rose Quartz (pale pink with a shimmer finish)

Moonstone (pale champagne with a shimmer finish)

Opal (champagne gold with a shimmer finish)

Topaz (bronze yellow gold with a shimmer finish)

Toasted Marshmallow (medium brow with a satin finish)

Hot Cocoa (chocolate brown with a satin finish)

I find the eyeshadows in this palette very easy to work with. They feel smooth to the touch and blend nicely on the eyes. The pigmentation is good but they are not extremely pigmented that you have to be careful when you work with them. I like that they included two satin shades that you can use in the crease. I can either use one of the shades as a wash of color or create neutral looks by using a combo of both shimmer and satin shades.

I think the Becca Apres Ski Eye Lights Palette is a great option for people who like simple neutral looks or are beginners when it comes to makeup. Or if you don’t already own a lot of Becca products, the palette is a great way to try more of their shades. The formula is listed as for the eyes but you can definitely use the shades on your cheeks too.

Swatches L to R: Pearl, Moonstone, Opal, Topaz, Toasted Marshmallow, Hot Cocoa, Rose Quartz

Swatches taken in direct sunlight

I like that the finish of the eyeshadows is not overly metallic or shimmery which makes them quite wearable for every day. You can amplify the shimmer finish by using them wet but I do prefer whenever I wear shimmer on my eyes to be subtle rather than full on metallic. Well at least when it comes to my every day makeup. When I go full on glam, I like more drama on the eyes.

The Becca Apres Ski Glow Collection Eye Lights Palette is available at Sephora and beccacosmetics.com. It is a limited edition palette and priced at $45.

  • Oh my, this palette is absolutely gorgeous. I was a fence about it as I’ve read mixed reviews on the actual shadow formula but the shades are so ‘me’. I can’t really pass on this one *__*
