The Urban Decay Naked on the Run palette is a travel ready palette that consist of six eyeshadows, bronzer, blush, lipgloss, eye liner and mascara, so basically everything you need to do your whole face except of foundation and concealer.
The six eyeshadows are all new releases so never before seen shades. It’s nice that they included a bigger size of the highlighting shade cause we all now that that’s the shade we hit pan on first. The lipgloss that comes with the palette is also a new shade named Sesso ( a medium pink-plum shade), the eyeliner in dark brown shade is travel size and the Perversion mascara is also a travel size version.
The bronzer in the palette is a light to medium yellow toned bronzer and has a matte finish. I would say that this would work up to medium skin tone as it’s very subtle on my skin. It is also warm toned so those who prefer their bronzer more of a cool toned shade will not like this. The blush is a nice pink color with blue undertones and a satin finish. It’s quite pigmented so be sure to use a light hand when applying, specially on lighter skin tones.
The palette is actually quite bulky, maybe they had to do that in order to fit the lipgloss but it’s thicker than my other palettes so some people would not consider this palette as travel friendly.
I would recommend this palette to girls who are beginners and don’t own a lot of palettes cause if you’re a makeup lover as me you can easily find the shades in different palettes.
I actually think that their Naked palettes are pretty travel friendly cause they’re sturdy and don’t take much space but if you want to have everything in one palette this is a great choice.
The quality of the shadows is very nice, I think UD never disappoints in the eyeshadow department. The shades are all very wearable, blend easy and are very pigmented. I like that they included two transition shades, one lighter and one darker to fit every skin tone. You can do a natural look with this palette or go for a smoky evening look.
I’m happy to report that I like everything in this palette, and I can actually use every shade. As I said before the bronzer will not work for everybody but for the blush I think it’s very versatile.
This palette is already available on Urban Decay’s website and it’s $54. The release date for other retailers is December 1st online and December 4th in stores.
