My love for makeup started with MAC eyeshadows. I went in MAC with my friend who’s a makeup artist so she can pick some shades for me cause I used to get so overwhelmed by the amount of choices you get, I just didn’t know where to start. So we picked up four shades that will go with my dark brown eyes and after that I was hooked.
I’ve collected quite a bit of eyeshadows from MAC and they’re mainly all on the neutral side.
My favorite MAC eyeshadows change with the seasons but if I have to pick five eyeshadows right now I would go with:
All That Glitters – A frosted champagne/gold color that is great for every day use. I use this shade all over the lid and I just add a crease shade for that fresh faced look.
Texture – Is a light medium brown and it’s the perfect crease shade for me. I also own Soft Brown but when I’m tanned Texture works better for my skin tone.
Antiqued – Is a coppery brown eyeshadow with a pearl finish. This is my go to color when I want to do a quick look, I just blend this shade all over the lid and I’m good to go.
Cranberry – Is from the frost family of eyeshadows, it’s a warm toned reddish shade that’s really nice for all over the lid. I use this eyeshadow mainly in Fall.
Sketch– Is my go to eyeshadow for Fall. I use this shade to darken up the crease or when I want to go all out and do a smoky eye, this is the perfect burgundy brown eyeshadow.
