If you read my blog you know that I’m a big fan of matte lipsticks. Combine the matte finish with a liquid lipstick and I’m sold. I like the matte liquid lipstick because they look nice plus they’re super long lasting.
Since I got the shade Lolita from Kat Von D I’ve always wanted to try more shades but I felt that she didn’t have any other wearable shades in the line that I would wear. And then she recently added a ton of new shades to the line so of course I had to get some.
I picked up the shades: Bow N Arrow (fawn nude), Lovesick (mauve nude) and Double Dare (cocoa blush) plus I had the old shade in Lolita described as chestnut rose.
The Everlasting Liquid lipsticks are long wearing, full coverage liquid lipsticks with a matte finish. The long doe foot applicator is very helpful with application, you can easily do a precise line. The drying time is also not bad, it allows you enough time to correct any mistakes that you’ve made plus the formula is buildable so you can go over with another layer if you want a more opaque look.
I’m not sure if they changed the formula but the new shades that I picked up feel more comfortable on the lips than my old Lolita shade. Don’t get me wrong they’re still drying but not as drying as my older liquid lipstick.
There are 28 available shades in the line so I think there is a shade for everyone. She even added some fun and crazy shades for the bolder girls out there.

As you can see by the swatches they’re all very wearable every day shades. I find the shades darker on the lips then they appear in the tube so just have that in mind if you’re purchasing online. I guess it depends of your lip pigmentation but still I can notice them getting a touch darker when they dry out on the lips.
Since I love these so much I’m definitely getting some of the darker shades for fall/winter. I’m eyeing Vampira, Exorcism and Nosferatu. Props to Kat Von D for the names :).
