Christmas in November? Yes please! Every year Sephora has a VIB sale in November so it literally feels like I’m shopping for the Holidays. The sale is like a holiday for beauty lovers like myself and now it’s the time to try products that you’ve always wanted to or just stock up on the essentials.
I did some damage at Sephora! This year I didn’t get much skincare since I have a lot of samples that I have to use up but I did want to try some makeup bits and review them on my blog. So this is what I got:
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit palette – I just had to! I have the previous two palettes that they came out so I had to get this one, especially because it features a new limited edition highlighter.
Nars Steven Klein Collaboration One Shocking Moment Cheek Palette – I’m not usually a fan of Nars limited edition cheek palettes because I think they can’t compare to the full size items, somehow the quality seems a little off but this year they did good. I will have a full review of this palette but if you didn’t get this, grab it! It’s a great value for the price and the powders are amazing.
Ciate London Olivia Palermo Smokey Suedes Eye Palette – I’ve only tried one lip product from the brand and loved it so I wanted to test out their eyeshadows. The palette is beautifully packaged and I love the shade selection.
Laura Mercier Foundation Primer-Radiance – I got the smaller bottle just to test it out but after swatching it on my hand I know that I’ll want the full size. Everything that says radiance in the name, I want!
Givenchy Le Rouge lipstick in 106 Nude Guipure – My first Givenchy beauty product and it had to be a lipstick. I just can’t get over how beautiful the packaging is.
Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Gloss Lip Lacquer Lipgloss in Sugar Sugar – I love a good nude lipgloss and this shade looked beautiful on the website. I already have two other shades from the line which I love so Sugar Sugar is a great addition to my collection.
Hourglass Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss in Child – This was definitely a Faith inspired purchase. She raves about this lipgloss so I had to try it for myself. Also I love the brand and I haven’t tried much from their lip line so that was a plus.
