SUQQU appears first time on my blog. If you are not familiar with the brand, SUQQU is a luxury Japanese brand. They do both skincare and makeup and their products are in line with Tom Ford and Surratt Beauty. It was my first time trying makeup from the brand and I’m very impressed by the quality.
They recently released their Fall 2019 Collection and I got a preview of some of the products in the line. I received one of the Design Colour Eyes Eyeshadow quad in 14 irourushi, Urushubi Pure Colour Blush in 10, Tone Touch Eyeshadow in 12, 14, 05, 06, 01 and 02. I also received three lip products, two of the Moisture Rich Lipsticks in 12 kinichou and 11 rinku and the Water Colour Lip Ink Lip Tint in 101.
First up, the Design Colour Eyes Eyeshadow in 14. This is an eyeshadow quad that comes with one satin and three shimmery shades. The colors that come in the palette are fall appropriate and great for creating both simple neutral looks but also smoky eyes. I really like the shade selection because the colors and not very neutral but they are also wearable pops of color.

The Tone Touch Eyes Eyeshadows are single shadows that come in matte, shimmer and sparkles. These single shadows are infused with oils to help pigments transfer on the eyes evenly and blend seamlessly. These eyeshadows are my favorite piece from the Fall 2019 collection. The pigment is unreal! Both the matte, shimmer and even sparkle shades are very soft to the touch, super pigmented, but blend so easy on the eyes. The sparkle formula gives a glossy effect on the eyes without the stickiness of an eye gloss.
I have six of the Tone Touch Eyes Eyeshadows in:
12 akihotaru (peachy champagne shade in sparkle finish)
06 suzukinu (sparkling taupe in shimmer finish)
05 yawatsumugi (cool toned light bronze in shimmer finish)
14 enka (copper in sparkle finish)
01 kagiero (warm medium toned brown in matte finish)
02 amaitoge (plum purple in matte finish)
Swatches L to R: 12, 06, 05, 14, 01, 02
The Moisture Rich Lipsticks have a balm like texture and a beautiful glossy finish. They are sheer but buildable and very comfortable to wear. The shade in 11 rinku is the perfect wearable plummy sheer lipstick. The other shade in 12 kinichou is a very unique warm toned sheer mustard shade.
I really like the formula of the Moisture Rich Lipsticks. It is very hydrating and basically feels like wearing a tinted lip balm on the lips which I prefer for day to day use. The other lip product that I received is the Water Colour Lip Ink Lip Tint in 101 mizuurushi which appears red in the tube but it’s actually a clear gloss. It is infused with menthol so it has a plumping effect on the lips. Despite being just a clear gloss, I love this! It is plumping and also very moisturizing. It softened my dry lips and added extra moisture without being sticky.

And lastly, the Pure Color Blush in 10. This is an ombre type of blush that comes with two shades. On one side you have a reddish pink shade and on the other, a pale champagne that you can use as a subtle highlighter. I like to swirl both shades together. That gives me a beautiful flush of pink color with a subtle glow. The blush actually reminds me of the Kevyn Aucoin blushes but just in a more compact form. All packaging that comes from SUQQU is minimalistic and thin which I love (makes them great for travel).

Bottom line, I really like everything that comes in the SUQQU Fall 2019 Collection. Mainly, I was very impressed with the formula of everything. The eyeshadows especially, have one of the best and easiest to use formulas I’ve tried.
You can find SUQQU online at Selfridges.com for all of us who live in the US.
