When I go to a Sephora store I always get overwhelmed by all the brands. You get premium brands like YSL and Dior that always catch my eye because of the pretty packaging but also all the new releases that we get first at Sephora. Sephora also has their own brand of makeup and skincare that often gets unnoticed in the store so I wanted to share my two favorite products from the brand that I think everyone should try.
I think my first ever product that I tried from the Sephora brand are their well famous Cream Lip Stains. I got the red shade in 01 which was one of their best selling shades back in the day when their shade range was not as big as now.
I recently picked up two newer shades from the line in 13 Marvelous Mauve, a beautiful pinky mauve shade and 14 Blackberry Sorbet, a dark berry shade that is perfect for the winter months. If you haven’t tried the Sephora Cream Lip Stains the formula is amazing. They have whipped consistency and are very easy to apply and they don’t budge all day but still manage to be comfortable to wear, plus you can’t beat the more affordable price of $14.
The other product that I think needs more love and attention are the Sephora Radiant Luminizing Drops. I got the shade in 01 Ultralight – Bronze which is a gorgeous golden shade. The drops are lightweight and meant to be mixed with your favorite foundation but I also use them as a liquid highlighter when I want a more natural look. They also make a great base for your powder highlighter if you want a more intense look.
The Radiant Luminzing Drops come with a dropper which I love because you can easily control the amount of product you dispense. Sometimes when you get liquid highlighters with a pump they end up dispensing too much product that you can’t use so the dropper is a great idea. The finish of 01 Ultralight – Bronze is more of a sheen and they create almost a wet look to the skin. When mixed with foundation they add a beautiful glow to the base without any noticeable shimmer.
