As we are approaching Valentine’s Day I was thinking what makeup I usually wear on that day and I figured out that my makeup looks are always on the natural side. I think for Valentine’s Day it’s always nice to accentuate your natural beauty and wear a more natural and girly makeup.
I’ve teamed up with my favorite mineral makeup line glo minerals to give you couple of product options for Valentine’s. Every product that I’m going to talk about is very easy to use and on the natural side.
Since we’re going for the natural look I like to keep my base coverage light and glowy. To add to the glowy factor it’s always nice to use a cream blush. Cream blushes are super easy to use and look very natural on the skin. Two shades that I really like from the glo minerals line are Guava (peachy pink) and Fig (neutral nude). The formula of the cream blushes is creamy and blends very easy. I use my fingers both for application and blending but you can also use a stippling brush. The consistency is creamy but doesn’t feel sticky and their finish is matte but they still leave you with a very natural glow.
If you’re looking to add some volume to your lashes, the glo minerals Volumizing Mascara is a good choice. Since I have pretty long eyelashes the mascara gives me both volume and length and makes my lashes very fluttery.
For the lips I picked up three choices. Two of them are lip glosses in the shades Flamingo (a pretty pink) and Taffy (a summery peach). The formula of the lip glosses is very pigmented so you can easily wear these on their own. It has slight stickiness which makes them last longer than your usual lipgloss but the stickiness is not over the top so it doesn’t bother me. The other lip product is the Sheer lipstick in Jamaica (a sheer red wine shade). The lipstick is very hydrating and comfortable on the lips but it also packs some color. When they say sheer it is actually not that sheer, it has in the middle formula, not too pigmented but not too sheer.
Now that’s my perfect Valentine’s makeup look, natural rosy flushed cheeks, long lashes and a glossy lip.
