Have you heard? Origins released lipsticks! The Origins Blooming Bold Lipsticks and Blooming Sheer Lip Balms are the newest makeup release from the skincare brand. The Blooming Sheer Lip Balms come in eight shades and a sheer nourishing formula. While the Blooming Bold Lipsticks come in 24 shades and an amazingly pigmented hydrating formula.
The packaging of both the Blooming Sheer Lip Balms and Blooming Bold Lipsticks is amazing. They come with dark bronze shiny packaging and beautifully designed white caps that feature a rose design (the colors that are on the cap represent the color that you get inside). They feel very luxe in the hand and more expensive than the $20 price tag.
The Origins Blooming Sheer Lip Balms come in a sleeker packaging. The lip balms are made with 12 flowers and are infused with Crushed Petals, repurposed Buttery Flower Waxes, Flower Honeys & Essential Oils. They feel very hydrating on the lips and give a hint of glossy color.
I love this formula for every day wear. They are an easy lip product that you keep in your bag for on the go since you don’t even need a mirror for application. The Blooming Sheer Lip Balms appear darker and more intense in the tube but they are actually quite sheer, which makes them all very wearable (even the vampy shades).
The shades that come in the Origins Blooming Sheer Lip Balm line are:
Pink Blossom (sheer light pink)
Nude Nectar (sheer nude)
Honey Blush (sheer warm nude)
Coral Daisy (sheer bright coral)
Totally Tulip (sheer red)
Fuchsia Fields (sheer bright fuchsia)
Sweet Iris (sheer berry)
Night Bloom (sheer wine red)
Swatches L to R: Pink Blossom, Nude Nectar, Honey Blush, Coral Daisy, Totally Tulip, Fuchsia Fields, Sweet Iris, Night Bloom

As you can see by the swatches, all eight shades are very wearable. They give out a hint of color and a glossy effect on the lips. The formula is hydrating and nourishing and doesn’t settle in to any fine lines that I have on my lips. Love it!
The Origins Blooming Bold Lipsticks are also made with 12 flowers and infused with Crushed Petals, repurposed Buttery Flower Waxes, Flower Honeys & Essential Oils. They are full coverage lipsticks that have a very hydrating and nourishing formula. With one swipe, you get bold pigment with no skipping and a beautiful satin finish lipstick.
The Origins Blooming Bold Lipsticks come in amazing 24 shades that range from wearable every day nudes, to pinks and mauves, reds pop of color and vampy shades.
For easier swatching, I divided the shades in to nudes, pinks and mauve shades and reds and vampy shades.

Bottom line, nothing but love for both the Blooming Sheer Lip Balms and Blooming Bold Lipsticks. Origins did such a great job at the beautiful packaging but also with both formulas. The Lip Balms are hydrating and I love the hint of color that they give. As for the lipsticks, they are a great hydrating satin formula. They also did a great job at the shade selection. There is a shade for every taste.
As for favorite shades, I love Honey Blush and Coral Daisy from the sheers and Sweeter Than Honey, Tiger Lily, Peach Petal and Petal Blush from the bolds.
