Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise in Star Gold and Rose Gold are the two new limited edition shades that just launched. I am a big fan of the Eyes To Mesmerise formula and already have all the shades that are part of the permanent line, so of course I had to get the new shades.
If you are not familiar with the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise, they are very pigmented cream eyeshadows that come in pot form. The pigmentation of these is amazing. You only need a little bit of product to do a whole eye look and they look amazing on the eyes. Heavy swatched, they give a liquid metallic look but when blended, the shimmer is more subtle and wearable in my opinion.

The formula of the Eyes To Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadows is also long-wearing and crease proof on my eyes even without using any primer. It is whipped and very easy to work. In fact this is one of the few formulas that remind me of the Tom Ford Cream Eyeshadows which I also love.
My most used shade from the previously released shades is Bette. It’s a beautiful warm bronze shade and great for creating quick one eyeshadow looks. I already have a review of the shades that are part of the permanent line and you can check out how they swatch here.
At first, when I saw the new shades, I though that Star Gold will look very similar to Bette. Well I’m glad I picked it up because they are not. They are in the same bronze family but Star Gold is warmer and has more copper than Bette.

The formula of the two new limited edition shades feels the same as the other shades. It is very creamy and blends like a dream on the eyes. If you are a fan of the Eyes to Mesmerise, I highly recommend grabbing these shades as they will be perfect for creating summer looks.

As you can see by the swatches, the Eyes to Mesmerise in Rose Gold is almost identical to the cream portion of Golden Peach from Tom Ford. So if you’ve always wanted to get that shade because of the cream, Rose Gold is a great option and it is also half the price.
As for Star Gold, it is a beautiful coppery bronze shade and I’m glad that I picked it up because I don’t have anything like it in cream form.
The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise in Rose Gold and Star Gold are limited edition and currently only available on charlottetilbury.com.
