In summer I always reach for coral or bright color lipsticks. If I want my lipstick to last I go for a matte formula so I don’t have to apply too much, but If I want to wear something lightweight I reach for more of a glossy formula lipsticks.
Covergirl Heavenly is a medium dark neutral pink with a glossy finish. The lipstick is really moisturizing and it also stain your lips which makes it long lasting .This is a great lipstick for work cause it’ s not too in your face.It’s available at every drugstore for around $7.79, the price varies by store.
Bourjois Pink Pong is a liquid lipstick that has a matte finish. The color is a gorgeous fuchsia pink that applies like a lipgloss and dries to a matte finish. The best thing about these liquid lipsticks is that they last for a long time and they don’t budge after they set. My only complain is the smell, it has this strong chemical smell when you apply the lipstick but the good thing is that it doesn’t linger. The Bourjois brand is hard to find in USA so I could only find it selling on us.asos.com for $13.34.
MAC Coral Bliss is from the Cremesheen family. It’s very moisturizing and lightweight on your lips so it feels like you’re wearing a lip balm. I wear this color when I’m tanned cause it really pops. You can find MAC lipsticks at maccosmetics.com or nordstrom.com for $16.
Revlon Juicy Papaya is a balmier version of MAC Coral Bliss. The Revlon lip butters contain mango, shea and coconut butter so they’re very moisturizing. The lip butters don’t have a lot of color pay off so they’re great for an every day use. Revlon lip butters are available at every drugstore for $8.49, again the price varies by store.
MAC Lady Danger doesn’t need much explanation, the color says it all. It’s bright orange red with a matte finish that actually doesn’t dry your lips like other matte formulas and of course it lasts for a long time.
