BEAUTY,

My Skin Care Must Haves

thomasroth&lushteatree

These two products are a life saver. I’ve used the Peter Thomas Roth Pads for about 4 years now and I will never go back. My skin type is combination to oily, it gets oilier when the weather is hot and humid so that’s about always in Miami :). I had problematic skin in my high school years but managed to clear up my skin by college. I do get the occasional breakouts, but these two products really keep my skin clear. I switch up my moisturizer and eye cream because I like trying new skin care products but I always have these two in my routine, why change something that works right?

Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correction Pads are formulated to clear up the skin, refine pores and reduce the appearance of fine lines. They contain 10% glycolic acid and 2% salicylic acid which is known as a remedy for fighting acne. It is very strong stuff so If you have sensitive skin stay away or maybe try the gentle version. I use the pads in the morning after I cleanse my skin and then apply my Tea Tree Toner. One container has 60 pads so it will last you for two months. The pads are available for $36 at Sephora.com, Ulta.com.

Lush Tea Tree Water Toner contains tea tree, juniperberry and grapefruit water. It keeps the skin clear of blemishes and balances the skin tone. Tea tree oil is famous for his antibacterial benefits so it helps with the prevention of acne. The Lush site recommends this toner for oily, combination or blemish prone skin. It also doesn’t contain any alcohol so it is suited for sensitive skin. I use the toner in my morning and night routine before I apply my moisturizer. I have the smaller 3.3 fl oz bottle which is available for $9.95 on lushusa.com.
