I think I’ve found my favorite lip combo when it comes to nude glossy lips. Lately I’ve been wearing more natural makeup so I think a nude lip looks the best when you aim for the no makeup makeup look.
I use three products to achieve the perfect glossy nude lip: lip liner, lipstick and of course lipgloss.
My lip liner of choice is the Marc Jacobs (P)Outliner Longwear Lip Pencil in Prim(rose), described as a cocoa spice it’s actually a nice dark brownish nude lip liner. Since my lips are pretty pigmented this lip liner is perfect for the “my lips but better” nude look. As the name applies it’s very long lasting. It’s creamy but not as creamy that it slides off and I really like that it’s a twist up so I don’t have to worry about sharpening.
For lipstick I chose the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick in Very Victoria, a darker brown nude shade with taupe undertones. The formula is just wonderful and doesn’t dry out my lips plus this lipstick was inspired by Victoria Beckham so of course I had to have it.
And last but not least the lipgloss, It’s a newer purchase but I’ve been obsessed with it. The Burberry Kisses Lip Gloss in Nude Beige is the perfect lipstick topper. It gives your lips a glossy look that almost looks wet. And as a plus these lip glosses are not sticky so very comfortable to wear.
