The Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate is an ultra lightweight and oil free foundation concentrate that delivers full coverage and claims to last up to 24 hours.
Now when they say this is a full coverage foundation they really mean it. The foundation is so pigmented that I only need three dots to achieve full coverage. The finish of the foundation is described as a soft matte finish so it doesn’t look completely matte, instead it leaves you with a nice natural velvet finish.
The foundation has the same beautiful packaging as his Coconut primer which is one of my favorites except the primer has a pump and the foundation has a one of a kind dot applicator which allows you to control how much product you use.
For best results they recommend using the Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Primer before you apply the foundation. You have to shake the foundation before application and the recommended amount of product is three to four dots for full coverage.
I tried the foundation both with a buffing foundation brush and a Beauty Blender and both work really nice. If you want a more natural look and coverage I would recommend using a damp sponge.
After application the foundation immediately sets and to the touch it feels like it sets to a powdery finish. The foundation is very light weight so you don’t feel like you’re wearing foundation and it also doesn’t transfer when you touch your face.
I think the Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate would work best for oily, combination and normal skin. If you have dry skin you will probably have to use a hydrating primer since the foundation is matte it can catch on dry patches if you have them.
Regarding the longevity it really is a long lasting foundation. I tested it for around 10 hours and it looked great at the end of the day. It’s one of those foundations that actually look better as the day goes by.
I have the shade in Beige 33 that’s for light to medium skin tones with yellow undertone and it’s almost a match. It’s a touch darker for my lighter skin tone but still works.
The foundation doesn’t contains SPF and it is long lasting so it would be perfect for special occasions whenever you’re doing photography or you’re looking for a foundation that will last you all day. Just have in mind not to apply this foundation like other foundations, you really need half the amount to get a full coverage. If you apply too much product it can look a little heavy and not natural. Less is more with this foundation.
The Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Coverage Foundation Concentrate is available in 22 different shades which is a pretty good shade range and it’s a foundation that will have a permanent place in my going out and special occasion foundations.
