Mac collaborated with Nicki Minaj on a nude lipstick collection. They released two lipsticks which have limited edition packaging and are Nicki’s two favorite nude shades. In addition, they also released 24 nude Lipstick and Lipglass shades. Some are already part of the permanent line, but some are brand new shades.
Nicki’s two shades are housed in beautiful limited edition packaging. The Pinkprint is described as a mid tone pink with an amplified finish. On me, the shade pulls almost as a pastel pink. I can see why she created this shade since she loves wearing these types of bright pinks.
Nicki’s Nude also comes with the amplified finish but it’s more wearable in my opinion. It’s a beautiful soft coral pink shade with warm undertones.

As I mentioned before, Mac also released 18 Lipsticks and 6 Lipglasses which are all different shades of nude. There is a good mix of super light shades, mid tone nudes and darker nudes with brown undertones. Of course not all nudes will suit every skin tone. The lighter shades are definitely not my jam since I prefer a more natural nude on me.
I like that Mac included different finishes too. You have luster, matte, amplified, cremesheen and more.

I hope the above swatches will help you find your perfect nude for your skin tone. If I have to pick favorites, I would go with the shades in Mmmmmm, Easy Babe, Patisserie, Baby’s All Right and Age/Sex/Location.
The Mac x Nicki Minaj Nude Lipstick Collection is a nude lipstick lovers dream. I think they did a good job of including different shades of nudes that will suit a lot of skin tones. You got some every day hydrating shades like Patisserie and Japanese Maple but you also have your long wearing matte shades like Age/Sex/Location and Easy Babe.
What’s your all time favorite Mac nude lipstick? I think if I have to pick one, I would go with Velvet Teddy. I think that shade is the perfect nude for medium skin tones.
