The Mac x Caitlyn Jenner Collection recently launched online and in stores and it is beautiful. This time Mac released a whole line of products. From single eyeshadows to lipsticks and a blush duo, the collection has it all. The shades and packaging are classy and elegant and will suit most skin tones. They’re all packaged in beautiful shiny gold and soft touch black packaging.
The pieces of the Mac x Caitlyn Jenner Collection are all very wearable and on the neutral side. I think this collection will be loved by many people since it contains shades that we would all wear on daily basis.
I received the following pieces from the Mac x Caitlyn Jenner Collection:
Eyeshadow in Melting Gold (metallic gold in veluxe pearl)
Eyeshadow in Malibu Bronze (ash brown with bronze in veluxe pearl)
Lipstick in RockIt! (midtone beige in a Cremesheen finish)
Lipstick in Authentic Red (deep red in Cremesheen finish)
Cremesheen Glass in Beautifully Bare (midtone beige)
Lip Pencil in Whirl (dirty rose)
Powder Blush Duo in Buddy (midtone peach/bronze)
Both eyeshadow shades that I received are neutral basic shades. Everyone loves a good gold and bronze shade right? The finish of Melting Gold and Malibu Bronze is in Veluxe Pearl which means they are shimmery shades but the shimmer is not overwhelming. They don’t have any glitter particles or appear overly shimmery on the eyes. Also the pigmentation of both is very nice.
When it comes to Mac lipsticks, they are always a hit. I haven’t tried a lipstick from Mac that I didn’t like. Of course there is the shade preference but when it comes to the finish and the pigmentation, they’re all excellent.
RockIt! is a beautiful glossy every day nude. It comes in the Cremesheen formula so it has medium pigmentation with a creamy and glossy finish. The Cremesheen Glass in Beautifully Bare is very similar to the lipstick so they go together very well. It is pigmented enough to be worn on it’s own but you can also use it as a lip topper to add more shine.
Authentic Red is your classic deep red shade. It also comes with a Cremesheen formula so it’s a great option if you’re looking for a red with a hydrating and creamy formula.
Mac x Caitlyn Jenner Lip Liner in Whirl is a classic. I think this lip liner was so popular a year ago that it was always sold out and so hard to get. The shade is your classic dark mauve shade with brown undertones that you can pair with a lot of nude and pink lipsticks. The collection also features the lip liner in Soar which is also a very popular shade.

Mac x Caitlyn Jenner Powder Blush in Buddy is described as a midtone peach with bronze. It comes with two shades and two finishes. The bigger shade in the pan is a dark rosy shade in a matte finish and the smaller shade is a shimmery pinky peach. Both go very well together but you can also use the blushes on their own. Swirled together, they make for a nice neutral rosy blush with a shimmery finish.

If you’re missing some classic shades and you love neutrals this is a nice collection to check out. My favorite pieces from the collection are of course lip products. Both the lipstick in RockIt! and Cremesheen Glass in Beautifully Bare are my perfect nude shades that I wear almost every day.
