Mac Fruity Juicy Collection is this year’s Mac summer collection and it is stunning! From the tropical themed packaging, to the product selection and quality, everything is amazing. The collection features four shades of lipsticks with different finishes, bronzers, Fix + in the coconut scent, Cremesheen glasses, a beautiful face powder and many more.
I received some pieces from the Mac Fruity Juicy Collection for testing purposes and I’m happy to say that I’ve been enjoying everything. First, the LE packaging is adorable. I think the tropical theme is perfect for a summer collection.
Second, the quality of all five products that I got feels very nice. I think the star of the collection is of course the PearlMatte Face Powder in Oh My Passion!. It’s a powder that features four different shades that are shaped in flowers. Mixed together, they give a beautiful coral pink blush with a golden sheen. You can also choose to use the shades separately as blush or as a subtle highlight. The powder feels soft and pigmented and never powdery. It gives a subtle flush of color that is also buildable and customizable (depending on how much product you will take from each shade).

The second powder that I received is the Mac Fruity Juicy Bronzing Powder in Baiana Bronze. It’s a medium toned warm bronze shade with a matte finish. It has great color payoff and feels soft to the touch. It is warm but not that warm that it appears red or orange on the skin. Since it is a medium shade I think it will be more suited for light to light/medium and medium skin tones. It’s one of those bronzers that is perfect for summer and for adding some warmth to your skin.
The Mac Fruity Juicy Eyeshadow x 6 Love in The Glades is a six pan eyeshadow palette packaged in a beautiful metal LE packaging. It features bronze hues but also some green shades. I have to admit that it’s not the kind of palette I would reach a lot since I only wear neutral shades but the quality is nice. The eyeshadows are pigmented and blend nicely.
The shadows that come in the palette are:
- Grey Stroke : Tinted white grey (Satin)
- Cumulus : Midtone frosty grey (Frost)
- Bye Bye Bahamas: Soft chocolate with pearl (Frost)
- Palm Leaves : Soft grey green (Satin)
- Neoprene Green: Bright frosty emerald (VLXP)
- Russian Blue: Dark blackened blue grey (Matte)

I got two lip products from the collection to share with you. The lipstick shade that I have is in Love At First Bite, a beautiful bright fuchsia shade in Amplified finish. This is my idea of a beautiful pop of color lipstick for summer. I think the lip shade would suit a lot of skin tones and the shade will go perfect with a tan. Mac also released two nude shades for those who prefer more neutral shades but I think the pops of color are worth checking out this year.
The Cremesheen Glass in Shake Shake Shake is described as a bright apricot orange shade. I love wearing orange shades in summer so this was an instant hit for me. The formula of the Cremesheen Glasses is soft, comfortable and non sticky. They have medium coverage (not too sheer but also not too pigmented) and the finish is glossy and beautiful.

Bottom line, the Mac Fruity Juicy Collection is a huge hit for me. I think the combination of the fun LE packaging and the product selection makes this collection worth checking out. You will find some nice pieces to add to your makeup collection that are all summer appropriate.
