The Mac Aladdin Collection launched before the debut of the new Aladdin Disney Movie. It features lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadow palette, highlighter and bronzer that were inspired by the movie. The packaging and colors were inspired by Jasmine’s strong willed beauty and the rich patterns of Agrabah.

The four lipsticks that come in the Mac Aladdin Collection are all wearable shades of nude and there is also one pop of color. The shades are:
Friend Like Me – Cool Neutral Beige in amplified formula
Princess Incognito – Neutral Pinky Rose in matte finish
Rajah – Muted Red Berry in matte finish
Whole New World – Bright Blue Pink in velvet matte

All three shades are shimmery shades so if you like your sparkle, I think these are worth checking out. I especially like Jewels on Jewels since it’s quite a wearable shimmery shade.
The Eyeshadow x 9 in Princess Jasmine comes with smoky shades and also shades inspired by the desert. There is a good mix of matte and metallic shades and also warm and cool tone shades.

I really like the mix of rosy, plum and golden shades. I think that I can do so many different looks with such a small palette. It is a great every day palette but also a palette that you create more dramatic looks.
There are two compacts that are categorized as blushes but to me, they work as a highlighter and bronzer.
Always One Jump Ahead is a beautiful gold highlighter. The formula is very soft and feels almost as a cream to the touch. I get a really nice subtle glow with this powder but I can also build it up if I need a more intense look.
Your Wish is My Command is a deep golden brown and makes for a great darker bronzer for my skin. It gives a nice sheen on the skin without any shimmer and warms up and bronzes my skin beautifully.

The Crystal Glaze Gloss in #1 Wish is a clear gloss with multicolor pearl. It gives the look of glossy lips and feels very moisturizing. I like to use this gloss as an eye gloss too on it’s own or over eyeshadow.
And lastly, the Mac Pigment in Rose, is a beautiful rose with copper sparkle. This shade is also part of the permanent line and not a new product for me. I really like this shades as a one eyeshadow look. It gives a pop of color that is still wearable and when I wear it wet, it gives a very metallic look on the eyes.

Bottom line, nothing but love for the Mac Aladdin Collection. I think Mac did a great job with both packaging and the shade selection. Favorite products from the line are Lipstick in Princess Incognito, Lipglass in Jewels on Jewels, Your Wish is My Command blush and Rose pigment.
