It’s no secret that I love my Lorac Pro palettes so I was very excited when I heard that Lorac is coming out with a Mega palette this month. I was lucky enough to order this palette on October 1st cause of a glitch they had, the original launch date was October 7th.
I’ve been testing this palette since I got it and let me tell you the quality of the shadows is great, it’s the same as the Lorac Pro palettes, so if you like those you will love the Mega palette.
The Lorac Pro Mega palette contains thirty two eyeshadows, the first two rows are matte and the last two rows are shimmery shadows. The pigmentation on every shadow is on point, they blend really well and last al day, of course I always use a primer underneath.
The packaging of the palette is very sleek, same as the previous two Pro palettes but bigger, it’s actually like two pro palettes combined. It has a magnetic closure and it’s very sturdy so it’s perfect for travel.
The palette is on the neutral warm side but you still get pops of color like Mulberry and Deep Teal. I like how they added different shade of brown that go from light to dark, warm and cool.
If I have to pick my favorite shades I would pick: Camel, Dusty Plum, Merlot and Maroon.
If somebody tells me that I have to get rid of all my palettes and just keep one, I think the choice would go to the Lorac Mega Pro palette, I get every color that I need to do different looks, from neutral every day looks to dark smoky looks.
Unfortunately the Lorac Pro Mega palette is sold out on the Lorac website. The palette was available for $59.
I just saw an update from Lorac that they’re not going to restock this palette on their website but Amazon is going to do a restock so if you’re interested in getting it they’ll probably do an update on their instagram page when it becomes available.
