Kiko Free Soul Collection is a limited edition collection that the brand released for spring. It features beautiful mint green metallic packaging and has everything that you need to create a whole look. I’m a big fan of Kiko’s LE collections. They always have pretty packaging but also the products are comparable with higher end makeup but priced at almost drugstore prices.
The Kiko Free Soul Collection has everything from brushes to eyeshadow palettes, cheek products and lipsticks. I like that they included a lot of cream products as spring is all about glowy and healthy looking skin.
I received the following products for testing purposes and review consideration:
Free Soul Blurring Moisturizing Face Cream ($28)
Free Soul Blurring Eye Balm ($20)
Free Soul Blush in 01 Biscuit Chance and 02 Coral Vibes ($16)
Free Soul Liquid Bronzer in 01 Natural Beige ($20)
Free Soul Mascara in 01 Soulmate Black and 02 Burgundy Ride ($14 but currently on sale for $5.90)
Free Soul Eyeliner in 01 No Limit Lilac, 03 Navy Kinship and 06 Soulmate Black ($12)
Free Soul Lipstick in 01 Wild Rose Heart, 04 Keep Moving Coral and 06 Breathe Out Amaranth ($14)
Free Soul Double Eye Brush ($14)
Free Soul Blush & Highlighter Brush ($16)
The Free Soul Blurring & Moisturizing Cream is a perfecting moisturizing cream that has hyaluronic acid and collagen that keeps the skin hydrated and smoothed over time. It has a bouncy gel texture and is very lightweight on the skin. You can use it as your daily light moisturizer or use it as a primer before makeup. It has slight blurring properties but it doesn’t blur my pores all the way like primers do. It’s hydrating but not heavy so I think that it will work for all skin types.
The Free Soul Blurring Eye Balm is a lightweight eye balm that provides radiance and smoothes the eye contour area. It provides hydration and makes you look awake and fresh. For me, since I have dry under eye area this is not hydrating enough but I can layer with a more hydrating eye cream. I think if you have combo or oily skin this will work really well as it’s very lightweight and sits well under concealer.
The cream blushes are my favorite from the collection. Both 01 Biscuit Chance and 02 Coral Vibes look amazing on the skin. The Free Soul Blushes are dual pans and come with a cream blush and cream highlighter on the other side. The formula is creamy to the touch and it is quite pigmented. It blends very easy with just fingers and also dries down, so you don’t get a sticky feeling after application.
01 Biscuit Chance is the neutral of the three available shades. It comes with a warm bronze shade and a light pink champagne shade. I like to layer both for a glowy effect and a dewy look.
02 Coral Vibes comes with a bright peach coral and a light coral shimmer. The shimmer in both palettes is very subtle. It looks very natural on the skin and it’s great for people who like their highlighter on the subtle side.
I was super excited when I saw that the Free Soul collection has a liquid bronzer. Unfortunately the shade in 01 Natural Beige is too light for my light to medium skin tone. The liquid bronzer comes with a big doe foot applicator which makes it very easy for precise application. The formula blends very easy and looks natural on the skin. The line has a darker shade which I’m planning on trying since I really like the formula. I think it’s very comparable to the Nars Laguna Liquid Bronzer which is twice the price.

Both the Free Soul Mascara and the Eyeliner are of great quality. The Free Soul Mascara is volumizing mascara that holds a curl really well. It available in three shades and I got the shades in 01 Soulmate Black which is your classic black mascara and 02 Burgundy Ride which is a dark burgundy shade. The second is a great shade for a more subtle lash and also goes really well with purple makeup.
The Free Soul Eyeliners are amazing! They glide with no tugging or skipping and are very creamy. The formula is pigmented but also sets and doesn’t smudge or bleed through the day. They’re twist up eyeliners too so you don’t have to worry about sharpening.
Swatches L to R: Free SoulMascara in 02 Burgundy Ride, Free Soul Mascara in 01 Soulmate Black, Free Soul Eyeliner in 06 Soulmate Black, 03 Navy Kinship, 01 No Limits Lilac
There are six lipstick in the line. The Free Soul Lipsticks come in comfortable matte finish. They have a velvet feel on the lips and are comfortable to wear.
I have three of the six available shades in 01 Wild Rose Heart (peachy nude), 04 Keep Moving Coral (bright coral) and 06 Breathe Out Amaranth (vampy burgundy).
If you have dry lips, you have to exfoliate and prep the lips before application when it comes to the nude and the vampy shade. My lips are constantly dry and they showed every dry patch on the lips. 04 Keep Moving Coral is the only shade that applied evenly and looked really nice on the lips even with no prep. Otherwise the formula is not drying and it feels comfortable on the lips.

01 Wild Rose Heart
04 Keep Moving Coral
06 Breathe Out Amaranth
All in all, a really nice limited edition collection from Kiko. If you have to pick one piece from the collection, definitely go with one of the cream blushes. Also if one of the two available shades from the Free Soul Liquid Bronzer work for your skin tone, that’s a good option too.
