BEAUTY, SKINCARE,

Currently Testing – Skincare Edit

I am officially hashtag, skincare obsessed! I used to use the same products over and over again but I’ve learned not to be scared to try more. I don’t have sensitive skin and I hardly have any reactions to different skincare products (hopefully I’m not going to jinks myself). With so many new skincare releases and new products to me, I wanted to share what I’m currently testing.

I have some new brands for me but also some brands that I’ve loved for years. Some of these are new releases, and some are just products that I haven’t tried before.

Tata Harper Clarifying Cleanser ($68) – This is the newest release from the brand. It’s a foaming gel cleanser that targets oils and impurities but also nourishes and hydrates the skin.

Ingredients:

-Prickly Pear Flower Enzymes: Provide gently enzymatic exfoliation to encourage cell renewal and target blemishes to help clear buildup without irritation or over-drying.
-Wild-crafted Juniper Fruit: Helps balance oil and sebum without disrupting the natural pH-balance or over-drying for a healthy-looking, matte complexion.
-Chlorella: Helps nourish the skin to soothe redness and calm irritation; gives the formula its signature green color.

Tata Harper Clarifying Mask ($68) – A clearing treatment mask that has AHA superfruit blend and quartz sand micro crystals. The mask helps with the appearance of pores, blemishes and redness without drying the skin.

Ingredients:

-Alpha Hydroxy Acid Superfruit Blend: Provides chemical exfoliation to help minimize the appearance of blemishes and breakouts.
-Quartz Sand Micro-Crystals: Provide physical exfoliation to soften and smooth the look of the skin.
-Soothing Super Seed Blend: Helps calm and relieve the appearance of redness on the skin.
-Raw Honey Enzymes: Simultaneously moisturize and cleanse the skin, helping pores appear clear and clean.

I actually took a sample size of this mask with me on my trip and used it yesterday. I’ll have more details when I test it more but from first impressions, my skin feels baby smooth and my pores really look smaller and almost non existent.

Tata Harper Illuminating Eye Cream ($95) – An age-defying eye cream with a universal pearl blush tint that minimizes the look of lines and wrinkles and instantly illuminates with diamond dust.

Ingredients:

-Diamond Dust Mineral Blend: Illuminates subtle contours with light for a luminous, soft focus look.
-Dual Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid: Provides deep hydration and a visible, double-plumping effect on the skin’s appearance, improving the look of elasticity.
-Date Palm Kernel Extract: Reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
-Spanish Lavender: Reduces the appearances of wrinkles in as little as 24 hours.

I’ve used this eye cream once and holy illumination. It really brightens the under eye area while keeping it hydrated. I will have more as soon as I test it. I usually give skincare at least two weeks of testing before I have my final thoughts.
