BEAUTY, SKINCARE,

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Line

As winter approaches it gets very dry where I live. And as the season changes I do have to adjust and switch my skincare routine and use more hydrating products. I had the pleasure of picking and testing some of Kate Somerville’s skincare products so I went with the Goat Milk line (hence the need of more hydration).

The Kate Somerville Goat Milk line is meant for dry or damaged skin. It’s a hydrating and moisturizing line while being gentle on the skin. It has natural ingredients like Aloe, Jojoba and Avocado and of course Goat Milk which is rich in natural Lactose.

The line consists of a Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser, Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream and Goat Milk De-Puffing Eye Balm.

The Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser is a creamy moisturizing cleanser that helps with removing makeup and impurities without stripping the skin of essential moisture. It’s a gentle cleanser that hydrates the skin and leaves you with smooth and soft skin.

It has an unique gel texture that turns in to a milk upon contact with water. The recommended use is to gently massage on to dry or damp skin and rinse with water.

Since the cleanser is very gentle it’s recommended for most skin types, even for sensitive.

I have mostly normal skin and it’s very important to me to use a cleanser that will not strip my skin. I don’t like that tight feeling after washing my face and this cleanser doesn’t do that. I don’t use it to remove my makeup because I prefer a cleansing balm for that but instead I use it in the morning to cleanse my skin from all the oils that were accumulated during the night.

The Kate Somerville Goat Milk De-Puffing Eye Balm is a cooling eye balm made with Goat Milk, Natural Milk Proteins and Manuka Honey. It has a sheer balmy formula that helps with hydration, puffiness and dark circles.

This is my first time using an eye balm. I’ve mostly used eye creams through the years and I have to say that I really like the texture. It’s easier to apply than your regular eye cream and also more sanitary since you don’t have to dip your finger to pick up product and it works just as great. I love the cooling effect especially in the morning because it helps with de-puffing. I don’t have a lot of darkness under my eyes, it’s only in the inner corners so I can’t really say if it helps with that but I can confirm that the eye balm is very hydrating.

My under eye area can be a little drying and this has helped a lot. The Kate Somerville Goat Milk De-Puffing Eye Balm also feels very lightweight and sits very well under makeup which is a must for an eye cream, at least for me because I wear makeup on daily basis.

And lastly the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream is my favorite product from the line. It’s a gentle formula that provides deep hydration while being lightweight. It has a rich blend of Jojoba and Avocado Oils that help with hydration, Aloe which helps with soothing and Goat Milk and Natural Milk Proteins which deliver deep hydration.

It’s mostly suitable for dry skin but it worked great for my normal skin. It’s also clinically tested safe for sensitive skin and it is fragrance free.

I like to use the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream in my morning routine after I apply my serum. The cream feels very hydrating on the skin but it’s not heavy and doesn’t leave you with a greasy or tacky feeling. I also love the packaging. One pump dispenses enough product for the whole face and the lid provides protection of the cream and again it’s more sanitary.

Kate Somerville was kind enough to provide me with a 15% coupon code for my readers, you can use the code “MAKEUP” to receive 15% off of any product until 10/31. The coupon is valid only for new customers and it’s also one use per customer.

*The Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream and De-Puffing Eye Balm were provided by Kate Somerville for review consideration, the Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser was purchased by me
