The Estée Edit Gritty & Glow Magnetic Eye and Face Palette is my first eyeshadow palette from the brand. I’ve tried some of their base products, mascara, bronzer and liner and I like most of them. This new palette is a great concept, you get an eye and face palette that are both magnetic. The colors in the eye palette are all beautiful rich shimmery shades and the face palette comes with highlighters that cater for every skin tone.
The palette comes in black and silver shimmery packaging which is perfect for the Holidays. You get a big mirror in both palettes that comes in handy when you travel. You get six shades in each palette that you can customize to your liking. The face palette can be used both on the cheeks and the eyes so you pretty much get a neutrals palette and a bolder shade palette in one.
They’re both formulated with tiny pearl particles that create and elegant glistening sheen. The formula feels very soft and smooth to the touch, almost like a mix in between a cream and a powder and all shades are very pigmented.
The six shades that come in the eye palette are: Swerve (golden copper), Riff (champagne rose gold), Burn (burgundy bronze), Wavy (dark emerald), Mood (midnight black with multi-sparkle), Trip (deep iridescent blue).

The six shades in the Glow Face + Eye Palette are: Snowlit (platinum), 14K Glow (champagne), 1st Light (soft pink), Gleam (peachy pink), Ray (golden bronze), Beachy (burnished copper).

I’m extremely happy with the formula of both palettes. They are all shimmery shades but don’t appear glittery on the eyes and the face. As you can see by the swatches every shade is very pigmented and looks smooth when swatched on the hand (swatches were done with one swipe). You hardly get any fallout when using the eyeshadows and the highlighters give a beautiful sheen to the cheeks.
The eye palette comes with beautiful rich shades that in my opinion are all very wearable. I can use the first four shades in the face palette as highlighters and the last two coppery shades as eyeshadows. I tried the darker shades as bronzer toppers but they were too warm and shimmery for my liking, they will probably work for deeper skin tones though.
