The EM Cosmetics True Gloss is described as a high-shine, vibrant and comfortable to wear gloss. It is a lip gloss formula that is very pigmented (two layers and you can get the same pigmentation as a lipstick) but also comfortable on the lips. They have a slight sweet scent that doesn’t linger after application.
The line has 12 available shades and they are all stunning. There is a good variety of nudes, brights and pops of color. There isn’t a shade that looked off on my skin tone which rarely happens with a line. I find the formula glossy but it doesn’t have that super glossy mirror effect. I do like both glossy and more subtle glosses so I really like this formula.
Formulation:
Advanced gel base maintains the wet-like shine while adding moisture and preventing TEWL (trans-epidermal water loss). A lip-plumping peptide complex stimulates collagen production, softens and repairs damage, giving the appearance of smoother, fuller lips. Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and emollients keep lips feeling soft, conditioned, and comfortable.
The True Gloss feels cushiony on the lips and it is not sticky. With one layer you can achieve sheer to light coverage and two layers it will get you full on pigment. All of the shades didn’t bleed and wore well for around 6 hours, which is pretty good for a gloss.
The shades in the EM Cosmetics True Gloss line are:
Truffle Haze (gray beige nude)
Secret Blush (pinky nude)
Magic Hour (peachy nude with micro glitter)
Ash Rose (cool toned mauve)
Aurora Pink (cool pink)
Lotus Blossom (warm pink)
Caramel Glaze (warm brown)
Blood Moon (bright orange red)
Moroccan Sunset (dusty coral)
Scarlett Knight (bright blue red)
Red Jasper (muted terracotta)
Ruby Wine (bright burgundy)
Swatches L to R: Truffle Haze, Secret Blush, Magic Hour, Ash Rose, Aurora Pink, Lotus Blossom, Caramel Glaze, Blood Moon, Moroccan Sunset, Scarlett Knight, Red Jasper, Ruby Wine

As you can see by the swatches, the brights pop of color are quite pigmented. They make my lips appear fuller and don’t settle in to any lines that I have on my lips. EM Cosmetics True Gloss has a pointy doe foot applicator which makes precise application a breeze. Since the glosses are quite pigmented you do need a mirror for application (you need to apply them precisely otherwise they will look messy).
If I have to pick favorites, I would go with Secret Blush, Ash Rose, Aurora Pink and Blood Moon (love my orange reds).
The EM Cosmetics True Glosses are available on emcosmetics.com and retail for $17 each.
