Clinique is on a roll with new awesome releases. First they made a huge splash with the new Cheek Pop shades and then the lipsticks came. The Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer are lipsticks and primer in one. The primer is supposed to help with smoothing and the lipstick give a very rich moisturizing color. The line has 16 shades ranging from very nice nudes to berry shades. They literally have a shade for everyone, no matter if you’re a nude girl or you like dark and strong colors they have them all.
I picked up three shades: Poppy Pop, Melon Pop and Bare Pop. These are the shades that caught my eye and also shades that I would wear daily. The formula of the lipsticks is very creamy and moisturizing, they glide very easy on the lips and never look patchy. They contain shimmer which varies by shade. I can’t spot any shimmer in Poppy Pop and Melon Pop but Bare Pop shows some shimmer when applied on the lips. The lipstick almost looks like it has a gold sheen so I see myself wearing Bare Pop a lot in summer.
Melon Pop can accentuate any dryness that you have on the lips so I make sure to exfoliate before I apply this lipstick. Otherwise it’s a very nice peachy nude shade that’s also perfect for the warmer months.
Now Poppy Pop has to be my favorite shade. It’s a bright creamy orange shade that screams summer to me. If you read my blog you know how much I love my orange red shades and this is no exception.

The Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer line is a complete hit for me, at least the shades that I got. If you’re looking for some new spring fun creamy lipstick shades I recommend checking out this line, it’s more affordable compared to other brands and you can’t beat the cute packaging.
