BEAUTY,

Charlotte Tilbury New Matte Revolution Lipsticks, Review and Swatches

The Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick collection has been out for awhile now in the UK so as soon as I saw swatches of the beautiful shades I was very anxious for their launch in the US.To our luck the Matte Revolution collection launched the beginning of April on charlottetilbury.com for only one month and they will be available for purchase until April 30th. The official launch of the matte collection will be in September so if you wanted to get a shade or two, this is the time to snag them before they’re gone.

The formula of the Matte Revolution lipsticks is matte with a luminous finish. They’re enriched with Lipstick Tree extract which provides protection to the lips and is a natural anti-oxidant and Orchid Extract which soothes and hydrates for a nice cashmere finish.

The packaging of the new lipsticks is the same as her K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick collection so it feels very luxurious and well made. The difference in these is the bullet cut, it has this very unique cut that makes application very easy. Cause of the pointed tip it’s very easy to apply a precise line to the lips and that’s very useful especially with the darker shades.

The formula is matte but not drying and very comfortable to wear. Their lasting power is also impressive and they’ve lasted me around six hours. They also fade in to a nice stain and never look patchy. The formula is enriched with new 3D glowing pigments for lips that look lit from within and a matte trick that make lips appear fuller.

I picked up four shades out of the ten that are available: Bond Girl, Very Victoria, Love Liberty and Amazing Grace.

Love Liberty, inspired by Liberty Ross is a nice rose berry shade that will be perfect for the colder months. I’m all about this type of berry shades during winter time.

Very Victoria, inspired by Victoria Beckham is suede taupe nude and very nice for every day. This shade actually matches the color of my lips pretty well so I know that this will be an every day staple.

Bond Girl is a chick natural berry color that’s not overpowering and very easy to wear. I would recommend this shade to girls who are just starting to wear color. I see this shade being very popular as it’s right on trend with the darker brown and berry shades.

Amazing Grace, inspired by Grace Kelly is a vintage tea rose shade that screams spring and summer to me. I see a touch of coral that will go so well with a little tan.

I’m very impressed with the formula of the Matte Revolution lipsticks and I love all four shades that I got. This is the perfect matte formula that everyone can pull off, even if you have dry lips cause it feels hydrating on the lips, it’s also very forgiving and doesn’t settle in fine lines.

Have you tried the new Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks? Let me know of any shade recommendation in the comments below.
