Burberry recently launched their new Kisses lipstick collection that contains 28 shades. They describe the formula as buildable and designed to give multiple lip looks by just one lipstick.
You can customize the weightless formula, one kiss of color gives sheer luminosity to the lips, two or three kisses give intense pigment and a vibrant color.
The packaging has the signature burberry pattern and feels very luxurious and the magnetic closure makes it extra special. I picked up three neutral shades: Tulip Pink (pinky coral), Rose Blush (rosy pink) and Nude Pink (as the name applies it’s a pretty nude pink).
What I like about these lipsticks is how versatile they are, with one swipe you can get an every day sheer look and with two or three swipes you can intensify the color for a perfect evening look.
The formula feels very light on the lips and it’s pretty hydrating so I think this would be the perfect lipstick for the warmer months. I’m glad I picked up more neutral shades cause I do like my bold and dark shades on the matte side.
I would say that for a hydrating formula the lipstick wear is pretty good, I got around five hours of wear before I needed to touch up.
If you had an issue with the smell of the old formula you’re going to be delighted to hear that the new formula doesn’t have a smell. I’m glad that they removed the scent cause I know that a lot of people had an issue with it.

The swatches are made with three swipes, I just wanted to show the true color of the lipstick, and as I stated above one swipe gives more sheer coverage.
If you’re looking to treat yourself with a new hydrating easy to wear lipstick I would say go with this collection, it has a good selection of shades, the formula is excellent and the packaging is very pretty to display.
