Charlotte Tilbury released a new Instant Look in a Palette and it is a Beautylish exclusive. The Instant Look in a Palette Smokey Eye Beauty comes with never before seen shades plus a Charlotte cult favorite, the Bar of Gold highlighter.
If you are not familiar with Charlotte’s Instant Look in a Palette compacts, they are easy to use palettes and meant for creating no fuss, 5 minute looks.
The Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette Smokey Eye Beauty is a palette that comes with everything you need to create a quick smoldering smoky eye.
As with every palette of this type, it comes with three eyeshadow shades, a bronzer, two blush shades and a highlighter.
The shades are all marked and show you how to use the palette.
1 Eye Brighten – is an all over lid shade that helps brighten your eye look. It’s a pale champagne shade in a shimmer finish.
2 Eye Enhance – is a medium cool toned brown shade in a matte finish. This shade is good for deepening the eye look and as a crease shade depending on your skin tone.
3 Eye Smoke – is a matte black shade with navy undertones. For the final step towards creating a smoky eye, this is a shade that you use to smoke out your eye look or even as an eyeliner.
4 Face Bronze – is a cool toned light to medium bronze shade with a subtle sheen. The shade looks natural on my medium skin and it is good both for contouring or light bronzing.
5 Cheek Swish – light pink with warm undertones. This shade doesn’t show up too well on my medium skin. I’m guessing the lighter blush shades are put deliberately so they don’t compete with the dramatic eyes.
6 Cheek Pop – is a medium warm pink shade in a matte finish. It appears very natural on my skin and it’s neutral enough to be worn with every eye look.
7 Face Highlight – the Bar of Gold highlighter is a yellow gold shimmer shade. It actually appears more yellow in the pan than on the skin. The texture of the highlighter feels a little stiffer than the other powders in the palette but still appears nice on the skin.
The Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette Smokey Eye Beauty is one of the more dramatic palettes that she has released. I have two of the three palettes that she previously released in Seductive Beauty and Beauty Glow, which are more neutral and bronzy.
Compared to the two, this is a palette that you can still do every day natural looks but you also have the option of going dramatic and smoky.

The performance of the palette is the same as her previously released palettes. The texture is nice and the shades are all very easy to work with. The Instant Look in a Palette compacts are great for people who don’t have a lot of time to spend on makeup. They are self explanatory and great for creating quick makeup looks.
