The Chantecaille Fall 2019 Collection is dedicated to Africa’s Vanishing Species. As with every collection, Chantecaille gives back to different organizations who are working to help endangered species who live in Africa. Beauty with a cause is the best kind of beauty!
The Chantecaille Fall 2019 Collection features six Luminescent Eye Shades ( I have three to show you), a Lip Veil shade and the Cheek Gelee in Vibrant. I also received two Lip Definers in Passion and Chic.
The Luminescent Eye Shades are described as sheer gel to powder shimmery eyeshadows. They have a smooth, almost creamy formula and give a beautiful shimmery, glowy look on the eyes. These are not totally sheer in my opinion. They give enough color to be worn on their own but also work over other eyeshadow formulas. I like to apply the Luminescent Eye Shades with my fingers as I get more pigment that way and prevent fallout.
Chantecaille Luminescent Eye Shade in Lion
I received the shades in Cheetah, Lion and Pangolin. The packaging of each shade corresponds with the name and features the animals.
The Cheetah Luminescent Eye Shade is a beautiful light champagne shade that gives a luminous, almost wet effect on the eyes.

The Lion Luminescent Eye Shade is a classic warm toned gold shade. I love to wear this shade on it’s own all over the lid and just use my bronzer in the crease to define the eyes even more.

The shade in Pangolin is a beautiful purple plum. It is a great pop of color that is still wearable and pretty neutral on the eyes.

Swatches of the Chatecaille Luminescent Eye Shades
I’m a big fan of the Chantecaille Lip Veils (review here) so I was happy to see a new shade in this formula. The shade in Tamboti is my perfect warm toned beige nude. The formula of the Lip Veils is sheer to light with a gorgeous shine finish. This is one of my favorite hydrating formula to wear on day to day basis as I have lips on the dry side so I prefer something that’s more hydrating.
Lip Veil supports Space for Giants and their work to protect elephants from human conflict and preserve their migration paths across the continent to keep them thriving for future generations.
It was my first time trying the Cheek Gelee formula. If you know me, you know how much I love a good cream cheek blush, so I was happy to test this. The Cheek Gelee in Vibrant is a vibrant raspberry shade. The formula of the Cheek Gelee is hydrating, pigmented, but blends easy on the cheeks. It sheers out really well and looks natural on the skin. The formula applies well with both fingers and a brush. Definitely a new favorite cream blush formula!
Chantecaille Lip Veil in Tamboti
Bottom line, nothing but love for the Chantecaille Fall 2019 Collection. I really like the three shades that I got from the Luminescent Eye Shades and the Lip Veil in Tamboti is becoming my every day nude. The Cheek Gelee in Vibrant was a pleasant surprise so I’ll definitely want to try more shades from the formula (I have Lively in my cart which looks like a beautiful peach). I also love that with every collection, Chantecaille gives back which is amazing!
