The L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows come in eighteen permanent shades and they also occasionally come out with limited shades. I know these are not new on the market but I thought it’s worth mentioning them since they’re great quality shadows from the drugstore. They can be applied dry or wet, wet if you want more of a metallic sheen. Their price is around $7.99 so they’re not the cheapest drugstore eyeshadow but I think they’re well worth the price. I bought five shades that I thought I’ll get the most use out of:
Continuous Cocoa is a very dark almost black brown color. It’s the only shade that I have that has a matte finish. This is the only color that is not as pigmented and creamy as the other four colors but I think that comes with the matte finish. It’s really hard to find good matte shades in the drugstore, I think the only company that does a descent job is Wet n Wild. This is a pretty nice shade for creating a brown smoky look and great for beginners since is not that pigmented so it’s easier to work with.
Perpetual Purple is a jewel toned purple shade. It has a metallic finish and it’s perfect if you want to do a dark fall look and don’t want the classic brown or black smoky eye. It’s very pigmented and almost creamy to the touch. I will certainly use this shade a lot since all the palettes I have don’t have a similar shade and pretty much are on the neutral side.
Bronzed Taupe is self explanatory, the name says it all 🙂 it’s a nice bronzy taupe color. It leans more to the cooler side so it’s perfect for fall. Again the formula is very creamy and pigmented and it only took me one swipe for the swatches that you’ll see below.
Amber Rush I think it’s the most popular shade of all cause word on the street is that it’s a right on dupe for MAC Tan pigment. It’s a rose gold shade with metallic finish with great pigmentation and wear.
Eternal Sunshine is the famous shade that Kim Kardashian wore on her wedding to Kanye. It’s a yellow gold shade with metallic finish and it leans to the warm side. It’s the perfect gold color for summer.
