The Becca Lush Lip Colour Balm is a new release from the brand. They are described as a combination of your favorite lip balm and lipstick in one. With buildable coverage, they provide a lightweight feel and a satin finish. The line has eight available shades, from a nude to a dark purple.
The packaging of the Becca Lush Lip Colour Balms is gorgeous. It’s sleek and minimal and beautiful to look at. Formula wise the Becca Lush Lip Colour Balms are creamy and glide really well on the lips. The coverage can go from sheer, if you only dab the product on the lips, to light coverage, meaning, you can still see your lip color peeking through.
I really enjoy the lighter colors in the line. They are an easy lip product to wear. They are one of those lipsticks that you keep in your bag and reapply without a mirror. I love that they are moisturizing but also don’t fade away too quickly on my lips.
The eight shades in the Becca Lush Lip Colour Balm line are:
Cafe Au Lait (peachy beige)
Ginger Vanille (pink coral)
Almond Fraise (dusty rose)
Chai Creme (tawny brown)
Milk Chocolate (mauve brown)
Toasted Hazelnut (rich brown)
Cherry Ganache (flattering burgundy)
Black Violet (sophisticated plum)
The Lush Lip Colour Balms applied evenly for the most part. I had to work with Cherry Ganache and Black Violet a bit more to make them appear even on the lips. Since they are the two darkest shades they were also not so easy to apply since I had to be careful to create precise lines. But the lighter shades applied beautifully and I didn’t even need a mirror for application.
Favorite shades include Ginger Vanille, Almond Fraise and Chai Creme. Those three shades are like my perfect neutral every day easy shades.
