My first Rodial products were some makeup items which were all amazing so I was pretty excited when I got the chance to test out their new Bee Venom Line. I’m always eager to try new skincare as I’m always looking for the next best thing for my skin. The Rodial Bee Venom line is a unique blend of bee venom, stem cells and award winning peptide technology. The bee venom plumps and firms the skin and helps with fine lines and wrinkles.
I tested out three products from the line, Bee Venom Day Cream SPF30, Bee Venom Night Gel and Bee Venom Cleansing Balm.
The Bee Venom Day Cream SPF30* is a lightweight daytime moisturizer that contains bee venom, melittin peptide, soy isoflavones and stem cells. It claims to brighten the skin tone, plump and firm wrinkle appearance and improve skin elasticity. After using the day cream for about more than a month I can tell that it helped with my skin tone, it does look brighter and it also gives an instant plump look after application. I also like that the day cream contains SPF30 which helps me with skipping one step in my skincare routine.
My favorite product from this line is the Bee Venom Night Gel*. This gel does everything that I’m looking from a night cream, it plumps skin, reduces the appearance of pores and evens out skin tone. It contains retinol microspheres and vitamin c that help with texture and improve the appearance of uneven skin texture and pore size and soy isoflavones which help with skin elasticity. The night gel is very moisturizing but doesn’t make my skin greasy. I can only use this product and I’ll be sure that my skin is getting everything that it needs while I’m sleeping.
And last but not least the Bee Venom Cleansing Balm*. It’s a luxurious cleansing balm that turns in to a milky toner as soon as it touches water. Bee venom works to plump fine lines and wrinkles and firms the skin whilst almond, jojoba and wheatgerm oils soften the skin and amino acids and salicylic acids improve the appearance of uneven skin tone. It’s great for cleansing skin and also removing makeup. It’s ideal for dryer skin but it also works great for my combo skin. It removes makeup really well and doesn’t leave a greasy film after use which is a big plus for me. I don’t like cleansing balms that make your face greaser than it is.
All in all I really like the Rodial Bee Venom line. I love the bright yellow packaging and the fact that every product comes with a pump which protects the product inside and it’s way more sanitary than a pot that you have to dig in with your fingers.
If you have a chance to try the line I recommend at least getting the Bee Venom Night Gel, it does amazing things to your skin.
