A good skincare routine is very important to me. I think investing in skincare is a must especially if you’re over 25 your skin needs a lot of nourishing to preserve it’s elasticity and youthfulness.
I tested a lot of different skincare products in 2015 and some of them are here to stay and received a permanent place in my skincare routine. Here are some of my most loved skincare products of 2015:
Pixi Glow Tonic – This is a cult product in the beauty world and I can see why. It’s an exfoliating tonic that helps tone, firm and lighten the skin plus it removes dead skin cells for healthier looking skin. I use it morning and evening before I apply my serum and I’ve noticed that my skin looks brighter and more even.
Foreo Luna Mini – I’m so glad I had the chance to test this skincare device because it has changed my skincare routine. Since using the Foreo Luna Mini I’ve noticed less dry patches and unevenness and even my makeup sits better on my skin. I love that it’s gentle but still manages to cleanse my skin. If you have sensitive skin definitely check it out.
Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist – 2015 was a year for rosewater face mists. I tried a bunch of them and they were all really nice but the one that stuck with me is the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist. I don’t think face mists make a lot of difference but I love how they feel on the skin and they’ve become a big part of my skincare routine.
Sunday Riley Good Genes – I will have a detailed review on this product but for now I can say that this will be a repurchase for sure and has a permanent place in my skincare routine. I just love it!
Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate – If you’re looking for a powerful line reducing serum this is the one to get. When I use this at night I can instantly notice that my skin looks more plump in the morning. If you’re interested in more details you can read my review here.
AmorePacific Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Eye Treatment Gel – Definitely the best eye cream I’ve tried! This thing is expensive but it works like a dream. The gel like formula slides so nicely under the eye area and moisturize and plump the skin. I’m on my second tub and I’m almost out so this will be a repurchase.
Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil – A miracle in a bottle it’s all I can say. It’s a retinoid oil which helps with reducing the pore size, improve appearance of damaged skin, help fight wrinkles and moisturize and calm skin. It’s everything that I need in a bottle.
Jurlique Calendula Redness Soothing Moisturizing Cream – If you have dry skin you need to try this! It has helped my skin so much through the winter months. I think the cream will be too moisturizing for my skin in summer but for the colder months it works wonders for my slightly dry skin.
Rodial Bee Venom Night Gel – The whole Been Venom line from Rodial is amazing but the Night Gel I think is the star of the line. It helps with improving the appearance of uneven skin tone and pore size while also helping with skin elasticity and wrinkles.
