I’m going to be predictable and say, where has the month gone! I can’t believe half a year has passed, I feel like we celebrated NYE couple of months ago.
It’s time for my monthly favorites and I have some good stuff to share.
Chanel CC Cream – After seeing this base so many times on Faith’s IG I just had to get it. It provides the perfect light to medium coverage, has a dewy finish but doesn’t leave me greasy and the fact that it has SPF of 50 is awesome. It’s the perfect lightweight base for summer.
Tula Exfoliating Treatment Mask – A great mask if you’re looking for a way to exfoliate and clarify your skin in one. I’ve been suffering from dry patches around my nose area and it does a great job with removing the dryness and also doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry and tight after using it.
ColourPop Wisp – I’ve fallen in love with this affordable brand. I love everything I’ve tried so far and the highlighters are no exception. Wisp caught my eye because I like my highlighters on the golden side. The texture is cream to powder so it’s best applied with your fingers. The finish is very glowy and dewy and never looks sparkly, it just gives that glow in within look.
Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion in 35l – I did a blog post about this bronzer with swatches, you can read about it here. I just love this bronzer for summer. It gives me a natural bronze luminous glow to my face and it makes me feel like I just came back from the beach with a nice tan.
Nars Dual-Intensity Blush in Fervor – The perfect blush combo! One side is a light peachy pink blush with a satin finish and the other is a deep copper rose shade with a lot of sparkle. I like using the lighter side for a subtle look but for nighttime I like mixing both shades to get a plummy bronze cheeks that has a beautiful glow.
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre Lip Lacquer in Blondie – A shimmering champagne pink lipgloss that makes your lips look very healthy and juicy. The formula is very nice and slightly sticky so it goes on the lips nicely and lasts a long time but never feels tacky. I also like that the lipgloss provides enough pigment to be worn on it’s own but also makes a good lipstick topper. I like combining Blondie with her lip cheat in Pillow Talk and lipstick in Bitch Perfect. As a plus I’ve heard that Blondie is a Kim K favorite :).
Chloe Eau De Perfume – Every summer I somehow go back to using this perfume. I find it very fresh and not overpowering at all. I do like sweeter scents but when the hot weather comes I prefer something light and airy. It has top notes of pink peony, freesia and lychee. In the midnotes they also mention roses which I can smell as soon as I apply it. The scent lasts and lingers all day.
