Urban Decay came out with two lipstick palettes that are part of their Holiday 2016 Collection. The Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Palettes contain twelve shades each that are all part of the newer Vice lipstick line. Junkie Vice Lipstick Palette has more fun and colorful shades while Blackmail houses neutrals but also some pops of color.
They both come in beautiful gold accented gunmetal case which also has a lid that prevents the lipsticks from drying out. You will find shades in six different finishes with colors ranging from shimmery to matte, dark to light and neutral to bright.
Both palettes also come with a retractable lip brush which is of great quality and helps with application.
The Urban Decay Blackmail Vice Lipstick Palette comes with 12 different shades and six finishes. Shades that are included in the palette are:
Sheer Shame (berry)
Firebird (deep fuchsia)
Big Bang (bright pink sparkle)
Disobedient (medium pink)
EZ (bright red-orange)
714 (bright red)
Vanished (pale neutral nude)
1993 (medium brown)
Ex-Girlfriend (nude-rose w/pink shimmer)
Amulet (metallic brick rose)
Conspiracy (plum-bronze shimmer)
Blackmail (deep berry wine)
I have a bunch of the full sized Vice lipsticks so I was able to compare the formula and I’m happy to report that they have the exact same formula with their full size lipsticks. Sometimes when it comes to lip palettes the pigmentation suffers since they have to be melted down but that is not the case with the Vice Lipstick Palettes.

The Urban Decay Junkie Vice Lipstick Palette also contains 12 different shades but in five finishes. Shades that come in the palette are:
Disturbed (deep brick red)
714 (bright red)
Carnal (medium warm nude)
Safe Word (neutral nude-pink
Studded (metallic gray-brown)
Whip (soft pink with gold iridescent shimmer)
Wrath (metallic red)
Big Bang (bright pink sparkle)
Firebird (deep fuchsia)
Vanity Kills (lavender)
Speedball (deep vibrant purple)
Junkie (metallic teal shimmer with gold micro-sparkle)
This palette contains some neutrals but most of the shades are all bright and dark fun pops of color. The shades seem the same quality as the other palette and it also comes in the same packaging.

I think both palettes are a great option if you travel a lot or if you’re a makeup artist. It’s also a good option for people who would like to try more shades from the Vice Lipstick line but do’t want to buy the full size lipsticks. The palettes are priced at $35 so it’s basically the price that you would pay if you get two Vice Lipsticks. Of course every shade is less product than your full size lipstick but I still think it’s worth the price tag.
You can find the Blackmail Vice Lipstick palette on urbandecay.com and the Junkie Vice Lipstick palette at Sephora. Both are limited edition but still in stock.
