I love Urban Decay eyeshadows, I think they do such a good job with their palettes and singles. The pigmentation and color selections are all awesome. I have to admit I haven’t ventured off from their eyeshadows except of couple of lipsticks so I was pretty excited to see that they came out with new blushes and lip glosses.
The Urban Decay Afterglow 8 hour powder blushes are available in 12 shades, ranging from a nude to very bright cool shades. The formula promises an 8h wear and streak free application.
The shade that I picked up is in Rapture, a beautiful deep mauve with plum undertones and golden sheen. The shade reminds me of a better version of the Nars Sin blush which I also love. The texture is very soft, pigmented and I love the glowy finish. This will be my perfect fall blush. The blush wears really nicely for about 8 hours like they claim.
The other makeup product that’s a newer release are their Revolution High-Color Lipglosses. I picked up the shade in Liar, a medium pink nude. The formula of the lipglosses is perfect. They’re very pigmented and creamy, they’re not sticky but wear nicely through the day. The packaging is very sleek and cool looking, they did a great job with the packaging on both new releases. The line has 14 shades and there are some pretty nudes but also some bright and vampy shades that I’ll definitely pick up in fall. The good thing about the Urban Decay Revolution High-Color Lipglosses is they’re very pretty on their own but also are great lipstick toppers.
