BEAUTY,

Spring Edit, Cheeks

As the seasons change my cheek products that I use also change. For spring/summer I tend to gravitate towards coral and orange cheek products cause I think they look great on tanned skin.

Spring means more cream products and glowy cheeks. Cream cheek products are really nice cause they’re easy to use, you can use just your fingers to apply them and they’re also pretty versatile, a lot of brands do cheek products that also work as lip products.

Here are some of my go to cheek products for spring/summer:

Hourglass Blush Palette – The good news is if you missed out on this palette you have all three shades available in their permanent line. If you’re a fan of glowy cheeks you have to try the Hourglass blushes. When I use this palette I usually mix the first two shades and get a really nice peachy pink glow. Review and swatches here.

Clinique Melon Pop – I’ve already done a review and swatches of some of the new shades, you can read about it here. Melon Pop is a true pale peach shade so it’s perfect for light to medium skin tones. I have to build this shade up but I don’t mind it when I love the results.

ColourPop Fox – This is the most unique formula of a blush that I own, it’s cream to powder and feels so soft to the touch. The best way to apply these is your fingers and they give a nice natural flush to your cheeks. Swatches and a review here.

Becca Damselfly – It’s the perfect orange coral blush. This blush looks very nice with a little tan, if you’re going for the beach goddess look you will love this.

Becca Blushed Copper – This is a newer purchase and I’m so glad that I got it. It’s advertised as a highlighter with blush properties, for darker skin tones it’s probably a great highlight but for my medium complexion it’s definitely a blush. The great thing about this product is that you can also use it over a matte blush to add some glow to your cheeks. You can find swatches here.

Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick in Moon Beach – This is very similar to Nars Orgasm but in a cream form. For lighter skin tones it can be used as a blush and for darker it will make a great highlight. The cream product is very easy to apply and blends like a dream. It’s a must for spring/summer. Swatches and review here.

Nars Taos – It’s in the same color family as Becca Damselfly but a touch darker. You just can’t go wrong with any of the Nars blushes, they’re pigmented and blend to the skin really nice and this shade has a gold sheen so makes for the perfect summery blush.

What are your go to spring blushes?
